Dan I wasn’t going to mention that you stalled it three times before getting it out of the shed and couldn’t kick it, oh and stalled it again once on the actual test ride or that Sal and I traveled 9,000,000lms into the never never dark back blocks of NSW to have a look with you

Yeah I am with ECKS on this one, I would like to see the long term benefits of these new boots, I am an old fashioned guy and will probably go to great lengths to not use one of those.
Great to here you are doing so well buddy

Ha ha that was your bike Aidan when I rode it out
TB
Did I say that or think it ??
Crash will tell you I didnt spin it up much either eh mate? Because we could talk with one another using the blue tooth, you would know because the other would say something. Maybe the speed we went past Limeburners and along that twin trail did it after we helped Aidan what was it 45, 50
You also forgot I knocked the lense out of your goggles on day one

Quote:Yeah,I know! It’s a pretty poor effort not to wash your bike for nearly 2 weeks after a ride. And just to rub it in just that little bit more……during the wash, I observed:
1 smashed headlight, 2 dings in my header pipe, multiple dents in my radiator guards, bent bash plate, a rock jammed between my left radiator guard and shroud, another rock jammed between the right radiator guard and shroud, 2 more rocks sitting on top of the gearbox behind the cylinder head and finally 1 rock wedged under the clutch pivot arm on top of the gearbox.WHAT IS THE LESSON TO BE LEARNT FROM THIS OUTING?
THE MORAL IS…….

I feel for the KTM team to have all those resources waiting to go, it should have been fazed in over 3 years or so, bad move from that angle Mr Organiser
Quote:Following the decision for the deployment of 450cc motorcycles, which are unthinkably unsuitable for use in long distance rallies,But the below statement also caught my eye, didnt a privateer on a 450 Yamaha finish 3rd last year.
As much as I feel for KTM having all those resources, under the rule change privateers can use 690 next year, why not unload those to them, keep all the wheel sets , riders, tooling etc and build 450 factory bikes and prove their worth?
Is their dominance limited to having a tried and true bike bigger than everyone else’s? They the KTM team has done to good a job to not stick to everyone else if they can under the new rules as well, they have a well drilled experienced team and if their 450 isn’t like they have to start from scratch like the other manufacturers

Theres some other changes for the front page also
