Could have just been the muddy conditions if they weren’t good quality pads Austblue. First time ever I tried some Ollie had been talking about on E bay, cheap s*#t pads and wore them out before the end of the day of the caves ride.

Food for thought is all, mud real rips into pads, see Ballards use solid rear discs in the mud, increases pad life by double they say

I changed my oil yesterday and had a “moment” tightening it back up as it seemed to get tight and then too easy and I thought I’d stripped it! I backed it out cleaned the thread and then gently tightened it again without drama but I did notice a few goosebumps and had to wipe the sweaty palms!

It turns out that I did strip the thread. After the ride on the weekend I noticed that there was a little oil leaking and thought I hadn’t tightened it enough but it wasn’t the case. I was very cautious so I think maybe it was damaged previously. Either way I think I’m going to have to get myself a torque wrench because I’ll be too paranoid now.

If anyone would like to recommend one it’d be appreciated otherwise I’ll just take a look around.

    :(

Any quality tool brand 3/8 drive will do the job, and also grab yourself a 1/4 for the small bolts, really need both

Well if you blokes are keen, lets make it the Monday, meet on the Tomingley Road where the access road to the park goes in, at 8am. We should be able to get in a couple of loops in the day at least. Bring fuel for 200+km.

TB, you’re on, we will tee a ride up for sure! Failing that we are sorting out some tracks around Orange and could use some more local knowledge. Will let you know when it happens.

Am keen to lead you around some tracks at Orange ECKS for exchange for some riding around Harvey Ranges

A man was sitting reading his papers when
his wife hit him round the
    Head with a frying pan.
‘What was that for?’ the man asked.

The wife replied ‘That was for the piece of
paper with the name Jenny on
it that I found in your pants pocket’.

The man then said ‘When I was at the races
last week Jenny was the name
of the horse I bet on’

The wife apologized and went on with the
    housework.

Three days later the man is watching TV
when his wife bashes him on the
head with an even bigger frying pan,
    knocking him unconscious.
    Upon re-gaining consciousness the man
asked why she had hit again.

    Wife replied. ‘Your horse phoned’

The cylinders may need a clean up hone Shane if you kit them and check for pitting, I dont think it will be the cylinders or brake piston seals to tell the truth, are any leaking?

You know how to contact me am always happy to make a house call
