Al,

I rewired your harness today, what a mess :ohmy: Problem was a headlight power rubbed through to an earth thus creating a direct short, this heated the wires for the charging circuit and melted them together causing all sorts of dramas, but didn’t take out the two glass fuses that are in parallel as well as the spade fuse you spoke about in the first post :huh: :huh: :blink: ???

Who would have a problem if this became a full 3 day ride, that is arrive Thursday evening and ride Friday Saturday and Sunday.

I know it sounds crazy but if we did that and I am not say we will its just a thought, but we can reduce the amount of transport klms we would have to do

PS I trashed a S12 in 320km on the denman ride, it was the wrong tyre for the day I knew that, but Moto had done so well with his. (but thats a kato)

I have now run it on hard pack at Mt Sugarloaf and the mud on the weekend, 10psi in the tyre and it is awesome, it is showing no real wear, its now done 480kms and I think will do 1500km to 2000km at this rate (Maybe) The retread was buggered at 480, its at Micks in the bin out the front, maybe he could take a picture for proof

Will keep you posted Rocket, at this stage looks like it will be worth the $160 purchase price
