I will come Moto, start time and location is easy for me, I personally wouldnt be interested in any of the above because its ridden to death and chopped up enough and why people keep going over and over it when there’s so much up there I don’t understand, but lock me in Eddie I will need a ride by then, I will have to drop my other toy of before sat then

Boulders nominations included the following; unassuming, knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, co-operative, not a ‘big head’, sweeps, fixes bikes, gives out fuel and generally a top bloke
Runner Up for Old Bull of the year 2009 – Eagle
Eagle’s nominations included the following; if people take time to read his post he is fairdinkum, and always makes new oldbulls welcome. takes the piss a bit and gives a bit, is keen to participate in rides and organizing, not to mention the 3 he got to sign up after his trip to Nundle and he never even had his bikeOne of the things that made this seem so right is that both Boulder and Eagle secretly nominated each other
Boulder won a set of Pivot Pegz and Eagle a set of electronic goggles supplied by Mud n Tar and some Belray product supplied by Battyes

Quote:Hi guys Aidan here
A massive thank you for your help yesterday. Had 3 hours of surgery this morning to put the fibea back together, was in 5 pieces.
Also thanks to the guys who went back in today to retrieve the panzer, hope you enjoy the ride…. :laugh:Thanks so much for the help, and concern. Will have to get some riding lessons from you lot!
Cheers
AidanWelcome mate
I just spoke with your wife and let her know the bike is home, mate I am more than happy to help as I am sure someone would help myself or my friends if need be. We went in through Shooters Hill and found the bike no problems at all, she rides straight and true. Got to say buddy if you take to this crashing caper I am happy to ride it back, its an awesome bike and a pleasure to ride and the heated grips how good are they. I tested it out for you and its all good I must say.
Its parked here at home disc brake locks on it and chained to my Honda (which they would take first  ) and its cover is on, so its safe. I will drop it up on Saturday as I arranged with your wife..TB
We have it sorted, Chops coming over now, and the keys are being run up here now and we will go and bring it back, I get to ride a BMW for a test and help someone out, the bike has been ridden and is ok so here goes
TB
Yeah I think Moto was going to drive the Battyes tyre deal and pivot pegz, is that as per we discussed before you wrote yourself of Moto?
TB
No worries Craig, I was the leader of the group and live in the blue mountains, I can get back to the bike no problems should they need someone the get them to the spot or she needs any help, I will PM you my contact number
Cheers
TB
Do you want a hand to get his bike, I am able to do it today and am more than capable of riding it out of there
Fez contact Fathead at Battyes on 02 95435133, tell him you are an Old Bull and he will help you no problem
Be careful of pads from E bay, I fitted a new set of rears before the caves to caves and ended up with both worn out and one losing its remaining pad from the backing plate
Spend the money and buy some decent pads, better then damaged disc’s, I was lucky as I heard it about 2kms from the end of day one and stopped using the back brake. I had packed a spare set of EBC that had done the four day when I raced it and 11 months trail riding

The Oberon ambulance service located the downed rider and got him back to Oberon. He has since been transported to Sydney.##Important lesson##
Never ride in remote areas in a party of less than 4 riders!!!
(1 stays, 2 go for assistance)Crash
PS. It will come out in the Caves ride reports, but we came across 2 blokes on the track on our return today. One had a BMW1200 land on his leg after losing traction on a slippery uphill section of the track. It spun around and crunched his leg under it. We made him comfortable, reassured them, gave them a silver warmth blanket, changed our route home and arranged some help for him.
you didnt mention we said we had to use his new BMW for a signal fire, or that we said he had to become a member before we would help him, or Tiny wanted to swap bikes
