All the ride detail, Room costs, start times etc all here

I will be of on a ride (this ride) and you can follow should you wish it is not a paid ride and you come on your own, your own choice and your own risk if any.

Mittagong to Hampton, 23rd and 24th of May, full weekend ride, stay at Hampton Pub, pine forest riding around Hampton, creek crossings, nice twin trail, fire trails and some fun hill climbs. This ride will cater for all skill levels if you enjoyed the aborted Denman ride or the Hillend Adventure tour you will love this ride it has everything.

Overnight accommodation will be at the Hampton Halfway House Inn / Pub
    http://www.halfwayhotel.com/

The pub caters for bike riders as groups use this pub all the time.

We will meet at Cnr Wombeyan Caves Rd & Old Hume Hwy, Woodlands NSW meeting time is 7.00am, its 7.00 because we have a big group and a distance to travel, I would like it earlier but cant stand the threats to my life. Thing is if we do start early we have a better chance of going to Yerranderie (google that, its a Silver mining Ghost town) We will group there at the intersection and travel to Bulli 30kms down Wombeyan Caves rd to a property the Ghost Rider has arranged for us to park the vehicles. We will leave at 7.00 so be there before 7.00 and have had breakfast because we wont see a shop all day, bring sandwiches people.

Note you need to take the Mittagong exit 64 kms from the end of the M7, you have to drive through Mittagong to get to the intersection / meeting place

I have booked the bunk house and three double rooms at the Hampton halfway house hotel

    The bunk house sleeps 14
The 3 double rooms are for

    Tracy and Champo $65.00
    Kylie D and Dan D $65.00
    Jeffro and Giselle $65.00

The twin share rooms are for

    TB / Chicken $65.00
    Crash / Ghost Rider $65.00
Fathead has the presidential suite because he has a fathead $65.00

I have used my credit card to hold it

As we now have a support vehicle going (thanks Chop and Adam) everybody going has to bring along a full 20 litre jerry can, if we all have 20’s its easier to load and strap them in. When we get to Hampton we will have done some riding, those that wish to stay and relax or hold the bar up can whilst others can go out in a group that myself and Dr will lead around the pine forests.

As with the Hillend trip can you please limit your overnight luggage to a back pack size so we can fit them all in the back of chops car keeping them out of the weather. That means you Dan D lol

YOU MUST BRING A FULL 20 LITRE JERRY CAN FOR EACH BIKE A 20L, if your need one I have some spares, or borrow beg or steel. We want 20’s because they are all the same height and it makes strapping them in easier.

I am proud to announce that everybody that goes will receive an Old Bull Stubby holder and some stickers for being on our anniversary ride.

Pivot Pegz have donated a set of pegz as the major prize this being the person that best represents what OBT stands for in 2009

He will also be there to award the lucky Old Bull winners with their prizes and to offer any advice for bike related issues/questions that you may have.

KTM Rat had donated 4 x prize packs, these packs include, two soft straps and one wheel web for holding your ride on the trailer, and a lift strap with whatever you want written on it, cheers Rat

Jack Links will again be donating product to all Old Bulls for this and future rides, thanks Jack Links for the awesome beef jerky we all love

Yeah it was, I could but two retreads for the price, I am told it will perform but need to see for myself.

I went in the purchase a Michelin Desert or a Michelin Baja and they are more expensive, so we will see, that Pirelli Scorpion will take some beating and its $45 cheaper

    Cheers Rocket

Wrong bait old man  I have lead you through many a single trail a couple of rides come to mind and never once have you passed or troubled me, and that’s sad as I ride such a unsuitable bike and you and many a person knows this, remember I have chased and passed you twice in conditions that suit your bike, you haven’t passed me ever  I also enjoy my single trail as Moto and the guys from the 4 day tour will tell you, its just at the moment I feel the Watagans is being over ridden and abused, I don’t know what the answer is and its just my opinion, but I have been riding there for over 20 years and have never seen it in such a poor state. I am happy to take you to Hampton, Orange and show you the best single trail around as Moto and Champo will tell you, its just for me the Wato’s is a problem in my opinion that I don’t have an answer for. :(

I am not trying to start a debate, please its just something I have been thinking about

Send me an e mail with your address details and I will send you a form and this get get back to its topic :P
