Will people have ph service there if we wanted to phone bid?

Umm I dont believe so Nate, which is why STM’s offer is being bumped along ;) (Just checked and there is a hill it works, if you have your finger in your ear, standing on one foot, at the correct angle  )

So no there is no phone service

Don’t forget that you do not need to be at the auction to bid. If you see an item you like and wish to bid on, or even if it is just for the sake of pitching in some money, then just pm me the product and your high price and I will put a spreadsheet together. This means everyone is involved and I will bid for you if the product falls below your bid price.
This is a big opportunity to keep the site ticking along so please pm me your bids.

OK, we now have the MCNSW permit for the weekend. Thanks to Moose’s wife Cathy.

Unfortunately we overlooked one slight detail. With the permit comes an additional $20 rider’s levee (payable by all those participating in the rides on the property) on top of the Recreational Licence fee of $25. So with the $5 HVMCC membership fee, this brings the total cost of the weekend to $50 per rider. With the exception of those who hold a current MCNSW licence and membership to HVMCC, those riders only have to pay the $20 rider’s levee.

Let me re-interate that none of this money goes to Old Bull Trail Riders or the land holders, all this is necessary to legally run an event of this nature and we have been lucky to get away with it in the past.

It has been a steep learning curve for us all and this is what you can expect in the future for any other event of this size.

That’s the way it is…. none of us guys who go out of our way to organise these bigger events for you to attend or the land holder that lets us on their private property, want to lose our houses.

Interesting idea Ollie just a thought, Locite 243 is thread locker from memory and you having pasted everywhere trying to glue the sprocket on may actually be your undoing. If you have enough between the hub flange and the sprocket (and the picture sure looks that way) you end up with a layer between after it dries and becomes brittle the torque of the BRP will turn it to powder. Once that happens the sprocket will no longer be flush against the hub i.e. loose again and the Devcon will last seconds.
From experience and it is only my opinion you would have been better going with a good dry FLAT mounting surface on the hub and sprocket. If you wanted to use some locite you should use 609 sparingly.
I have had a bad experience as an apprentice with locite like you have done there (Engine failure) and the words of my boss as he kicked my arse always ring in my ears “With locite Yager some is good but more is not better”

Good luck I hope it works :)

Can anyone tell me if the Adv ride will have the associated license fee etc attached to it?

If it doesn’t consider my sponsorship of Boony $100 not $50 as its not fair we Adv riders get to play for free while the others have to pay to play :pinch:

Adv riders are of the property so you don’t need to pay

But save some money for the evening auctions and just stick to your original 50 maybe?

An XR is hardly a chore, I dont suppose you have a transalp with tourances on it tucked away in the shed do you boony :) . And this was looking soooo promosing. Not even half a lap? Is this the same red blooded aussie icon that posted the harden up nundle style ride report

I might have to sponser STM’s lap on the poker run :) , how long is that run anyway?

Squiggle throw 50 at Eagle to do a postie lap :cheer:   I am already sponsoring STM’s lap, but Eagle will be worth money :P :woohoo:

    TB

    BTW

    Lap 1 – STM $70 (TB & PTW)
    Lap 2 – Trailrraider $50 (Trailraider)
    Lap 3

I agree with what Aaron said but the thing that interests me is the time frame to blow

Check if the fane spins free, does it do it on a wet ride only, thinking that water is causing the short?

Anything else you can think of that seems to happen around the same time?

Yeah we wouldnt want Boony to spoil the ADV ride for the other guys but as TB said the Piglet will front up and money goes in to have people get stuck with it for a lap

STM gets a red back from me.

    PTW

So we have 120 for Boony on the adv ride on the XR

70 for STM’s lap on the postie, his first lap

Go pros will be mounted all over that postie :woohoo: :woohoo:

Just spoke with Pete and here is what we reckon. Lets stick with Boony on the adv ride on the XR for 120 large( the little bike is too slow out there on the big tracks)

But Pete will bring it up and we can nominate people to do a lap of the poker run on it?

I will put a 50 up for STM to do his first lap of the poker run track on it :woohoo:
