Salina got a new helmet today for the big trip

TB – I *think* that’s the new helmet that is used for jet fighters with the HUD (head-up display) laser imaged direct to your visor. That’s so totally awesome! It even shows the ‘L’ displayed in an Orange circle. I think the picture was taken on approach to ‘L’anding.

Quality posting Moto, like your other 6 zillion posts

    Back on Topic :P

Hey Champo the route Micks got looks good, can I organise us some accommodation somewhere near or around Wauchope area for night 2?

Grade will be 1,2,3,4,5 a bit of every thing. The day will be as flowing as possible. We can easily change the loop to suit every bodies ability.

One point i would like to make clear is.

If you see somebody stuck on a hill, in a big rut or drowning their bike.
YOU get off your bike and help out. This will help with the flow of the ride.

I am riding the loop i have in mind this sunday to make sure all trails are ciear and to work out ways to get around the big hills for those people who might not be up for the challenge.

Arrow is sorting out dates, accomadation, dinner

Wil know lots more on Monday and Arrow will have dates set???
    Not the 2nd or 3rd I hope

    Good luck with it

What about this for a change of plan Champo, we leave your place at around 10.30am good friday, travel out to Raymond Terrace and up to Dungog, refuel from there onto the dirt and up to Gumleaf hut, the knob, Jerusalem Falls, a logging museum, Dundungra Falls and over towards river and up to Gloucester where I can book us into the Roundabout Inn with our bikes in lock up for the first night. They have two double rooms

    Day 2

Mick is now working on a route from Gloucester to Ellenborough Falls and wiggle our way over towards Wauchope and the coast for night 2

    More later

That’s the exact same design and the latest model XR650 isn’t it? :P

Again steven you have shown you closed mind and limited knowledge about motorbikes, they don’t make or are going any new XR650’s:( , besides Menace was saying they are KTM guys, why would they ride a Honda, when they could ride a KTM?

Yeah good job again, Crash and myself have done a stack of riding at and around Appin when I lived at Heathcote, could have also been a good ride from Waterfall to Appin but its all waterboard land and we wouldnt ride that would we :)

Which side of Appin did you ride on? On the westcliff side or on the cordeux dam side?

what do you think our eta to putty half way house would be (all going well) so that the brother inlaw can hook up with us just a rough idea i was going to ring him when we got to laguna anyway i reckon its about a hour from there. so it would give him time to get from broke out to putty
    cheers dave

If we leave at 7 from the pines, I wasnt going to stop at Laguna now as it is less than 90kms to the halfway road house at Putty. I would think we will be there between 9.00 and 10.00

Hey Champo just went and filled the bike up, couldn’t have been a litre in it, it coughed when I rode into the servo and I struggled to get 10.47 litres in it????
