Christ that could have gone all bad. But it didn’t, great work Toes

Tried three different front guards
Con’s
Radiator gets full of mud and shit of the front tyre
Radiator, water pump hose, rectifier, coolant bottle all are an easy target for rocks from the front wheel (saw that damage over 20,000km)
Mud throws over the front
When in the sand and standing sand seem to come over the front
Couldn’t seem to get a good fit with the tie down hook and you struggle to tie them down with out the hook with straps rubbing on body workPro’s
Wheel doesn’t clogg with mud (hasn’t ever happened) had taken guard of once in mud but rear wheel ended up locking up with mud so high guard didn’t help. I think Clubby’s front wheel ended up locking up in the black soil on the tragics recent ride with a high guard
The lower guard looks better IMO more Dakar for me

osmooian wrote:Just for the information of the keyboard warriors out there..I have been at work since the original post, and after the second post was made (the morning of picking up said tyre) I picked up the tyre that afternoon, yes I was charged $20 for fitting and yes the workshop staff were helpful.
I was told at the POS that the cost would be $45 for tube, and $25 for fitting, I did not confirm that was what I paid however, I have since confirmed that yes $34.95 was debited from my account..
I do not want a refund, I do not want a discount or anything else, it was a miscommunication between myself and the dealer and I am happy to leave it at that (I have since pmed the dealer he has my contact no and can contact me if he wishes).. The entire point of an internet forum is for members of the general public to voice there concerns or issues for discussion, it appears that a number of members feel that the price charged was reasonable and there was no issue with the service costs, I’ll cop that..
A number of you felt it was a personal attack.. it was not.. in future I’ll ensure that all my post in no way reflect negatively on any sponsors, sponsor affiliates..
Thanks (unless some of your offended by recieving thanks…)
For the record no one mentioned it was a site sponsor until the sponsor themselves got involved. As for the key board warrior comment well people just responded as happens on a forum when some puts something like this out there

If you want a Tenere give me a ring TR, might be able to look after you better than you think (already sold one this week to an Old Bull). Failing that I would get a DR, spares are cheaper than the Tera, heaps more accessories, parts anywhere and Husky fuel injection is a reliable as a Russian space station  :pinch:

IMO (not meaning to offend any Husky owners just what I have seen)
