There is nothing to bite about, the young bloke has ridden it 3 times since we got it, it hasn’t been dusted as you told me Dave, it had compression until all of a sudden and it overheated, there’s more to it than a bike that rode fine and all of a sudden developed a 4.5mm ring end cap, as I said on the phone Dave wheres the missing piece of ring because I spoke with a guy that was here when I pulled the barrel of and he said it didnt have a 4.5mm ring cap, no there’s more to this Dave, and yes I do so appreciate your time and efforts as does Kieran as you know.
Maybe they can return on the support vehilce was my thought?
Good on both accounts lol:laugh:

Quote:Not to look ungrateful and a bludger – but I haven’t seen a copy of the mag yet? What’s happening?Well as you sound like both  , lol we had to get all the names together at once of the 4 we had, you and Champo won the first two and we have had to give the other two away, then there was Christmas when some places shut for an extended period (TBAM’s editor is still away as of last weekend) that’s what happened mate, its under control, I should have explained we decided to give all 4 away before we would pass it on to the mag which will be this week with the story re; Hillend Ride we hope to get in the mag

Quote:Mate I have ruptured three disks in one spill, and cracked two vertebra in another at a separate time, I have torn muscles from vertebra, after the first trauma the doc wanted to operate, but the trade off was no more riding, all I can say is try other doctors……you will find there is always an alternative. I have not had any operations and I am in constant dull pain if I don’t ride, the riding keeps all the muscle groups happening and this is what floats my boat. I was looking down the barrel of a 50/50 chance of a fix, but 100% no riding anymore.
F@ck that, I breath, I move , I ride.
The more often I can work out the body on the bike the better it feels…….THE ONLY LOOSE LINK………GOD Damn it hurts now when I do fall off….Not an easy path to tread my friend, investigate further before doing drastic surgery, Good LuckOn a not so serious note Dave, F*#k you must have a sore back because its taken 9 months I know of to get one of your orange shitboxes going lol
Good luck aaron, I agree with Rat check it all out first

Quote:He didn’t call me… he POSTED IT UP ON DBW!!Sorry folks, TB is leaving OBT, he’s had a better offer from Drew over at DBW! Apparently Drew offered him a free KTM and a T-shirt (Or was that a free KTM t-shirt?) and it was an offer too good to refuse!

Maybe if we offer him two bob and a pickled egg he will come back…
Ha ha I almost have the work thing beat so I will be back all the time, I have been on DBW only because you posted OUR ride there and am sharing with people how good it is here, check the picture I used to say my bike is ok

Yeah Old Bull Old Bull Old Bull everywhere.
I wont be back now for ages, (DBW that is) cheers for the thought ECKS, but I don’t like the way people talk to people there and some other issues, I know its only a few.
Now the important news, the XR is alive and well, I used a dial indicator today to measure the end float and it had exactly 67 thou, which is a bit more than 1.5mm, so Champo was the closed he said around the 1mm mark, good job Champo, Man it looked so much more than that and I feel like a knuckle head but I had a great time Sunday in the ute and seeing the guys on the trails was great, I don’t ever get to see that sort of thing as I lead 99% of the rides I go on.
Cheers

Denman Pub ride, this ride will leave somewhere in Corrangbong, close to the Watagans and travel to Denman Pub for a Pub lunch and return. The ride will go through the Watagans, fuel top up at Laguna 50kms, across to the Halfway House on the Putty and fuel again 60kms, and about 70kms to Denman down through the Poo track Crash!
There will be two different tracks in the Watagans with two different leads and sweeps to account for everybody’s skill level, easy loop and harder loop and we will rejoin the groups to continue the ride. The ride will leave at 7am in the morning so we have an early finish for those with distance to travel home.I am toying with running a support vehicle should anyone be interested please PM me
