I don’t understand this  , I mean I understand buying a bike because you like the look of it :) , and I understand buying aftermarket plastics to protect originals but the same colour to keep that look you liked when you bought the bike, multi coloured?? Jury is out with me on black panels etc, but each is for their own of course. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder for sure

Most of the people I’ve ever heard complain about the PDS I’ve ridden straight past on the trails anyway. They wouldn’t know about progressive and linear spring rates if it hit them in the arse (literally!).

At the risk of inflaming a silly debate in which I am right  , PDS doesn’t work Moto if it did why would KTM be dropping it next year? And another fact from left field, G McGrath won AMA super cross titles on every Japanese brand didnt he yes, but couldn’t on a KTM, the article that I read stated it was because of the rear suspension and in another interview I saw his mechanic backed that up.
It doesn’t work, yet a freak / genius / gorilla like D Knight can make it better than it is I feel and he may also do that for BMW

It is the only way we want reviews here that’s for sure. I liked reading your thoughts ECKS, I spoke with Crash last nite regarding his and he hasn’t had to adjust anything, I think you get the most benefit from them when you stand for sure. I used to move my feet to the ball of my foot, but have since dropped it since I got the pivot pegz, its a bad habit anyway as if you need the brake in a emergency its takes time to get it moved, same as fingers over the brake lever. I haven’t adjusted anything when I started riding mine.

Yes Moto your traveling up with Chicken and I on Thursday the 5th of March, and sleeping on Micks shed floor

    TB

First I’ve heard of it! Sounds good though :) I might go and see Mick before, he’s only 3 hours away….

No its not the first you have heard of it you idiot, we discussed that I would be in Newcastle the week leading up to the ride (micks 3 day birthday ride) we would catch up for a beer and dinner and that chicken was traveling with me and I had the spare spot on the the trailer and we could leave Thursday arvo late and travel up but would have to swag etc at Micks shed as the accommodation organised for the weekend doesn’t start to Friday night OMG

With the action shots Mick I send Champo well, normally Champo out in front every time he gets up the front for cornerman duties he goes ahead and gets the group coming through on our big rides, just a thought.

Yeah good job Crash, also nice shot of the bling, new pivot pegz, the PWR radiators, the works connection frame guards and the FMF exhaust system. smiley-laughing021.gif

Now the report, yeah I agree they help standing and really give a feel of more stability and control.
Looking forward to hearing from the others that took advantage of the low purchase price, hey what about the build quality of the pegz? Looking forward to some more deals in the future

Just spoke to Ollie on the phone, they got the Gasser to the Comboyne turn on the Oxley highway and went and got the ute as he wasn’t game to ride it at 10kmh on the highway. No verdict yet as to what is wrong with it. They weren’t noises I would like to hear coming from my bike.

Wouldnt worry about that Mick, a XR600 doesnt do stuff like that ;)

Tripper’s XR is making some shitty noises.Albeit it ran out of oil.

But you would confidently ride it 10kms home B)
