cognac wrote:Gday TBUnfortunately something has come up that we can’t get out of and myself and Henno will have to withdraw from the Nav ride. Sorry for the muck around, I really appreciate all the effort that goes into organising these runs and we’ll definately try for the next one. Henno will post as well.
Cheers

Last night I fitted the SW Motech centre stand I ordered from “Off the Road”
It went on fine, but I’ve noticed it doesn’t have a rubber grommet to stop it hitting the rear linkage.
Is this normal ? Or is it missing a part ?
Other thing I’ve found is that the new chain has stretched ( a lot ) & is rubbing on the centrestand. Quick adjustment tonight will sort that !Any help most appreciated.
Cheers,
BuckyUmmm not sure about the grommet Bucky a picture would help.
Yes the chain appears to hit when sitting there without the rider on board (when correctly adjusted) but doesnt when you are on it.
Unless your 60kilos and dont plan on putting luggage on board get your suspension done, makes the biggest difference and helps with the chain on the centre stand
Welcome to the white club BTW

Nah this is as good a thread as any Bones for it
My spot two never worked well when mounted on the bars either did my connect actually. My spot 2 wasn’t something that I was ever 100% happy with, it never missed sending a message but which is the most important thing I think.. My connect (the spot 3) has always been good always and I am very happy with it and the extra features

But I’m practicing posting a you tube vid I posted re some of the bloke I ride with at Sunny Corner.
Before you start watching I can tell you Bucky hates:
-Single track
-Eggs
-Camping in shearing sheds we call the “LUND Hilton”It’s a pisstake on one of our mates… there are some “in” jokes you may not get but it may stimulate some others to something. The others I have watched have been good!
That’s funny well done John!
