If I was able to convince a coffee van to be at the pub (start) car park on sat morning between 7am and 8am (earliest start time) who thinks they would purchase at least one coffee?

pete the wulf wrote:12mins is nothing to a guy like Grabbo, he might be feeling the nerves, a few flash backs maybe :unsure:Go Lincoln Bird ( the Bird man i like to call him  ) 32nd :woohoo:

12 mins is a life time at Finke Pete. I am a HUGE Grabbo fan but this isn’t his year. See his safari and Dakar sparing partner Rod Faggotter is the bike behind just under 3mins. I am betting Grabbo has a had a drama to be that far behind the GHR Hondas
Guess we will know tomorrow night
Hey after we spoke the other day I went through some of my old routes and I have the route we spoke about!
Couple of weeks lets slip out on a shift workers ride, mid week special  we can do that route and some stuff not far from there I was exploring with Flying Fish the other day. Do a quick 4 to 5 hundred 99% off road, 12 hours, 4 stops should get you bike fit

Nah just a explore some hunches ride
Great ride report btw John
I have a spare GPS for Lithgow still on offer

Wigster wrote:Great read Amy, I’m glad you are OK after your stack. Concussion can play some strange tricks on your mind so you have done well to get back on the horse, so to speak. The photo of that slippery clay rutted out track has me gibbering in front of the screen. I’ll have my outriggers out for that bit. Even so I can see a face plant or two in the mix for me, especially as some of the sections might be “challenging for the larger Adventure bikes”.
Wigster
Wiggy there is nothing harder than anything you have done before. There is a hill that looms bad in the distance but isn’t, is it Amy
every technical section can be ridden if only in first gear mate
TB
Happy Birthday Boulder mate have a great day making sure Clare spoils you
See you in a few weeks at Lithgow, rounds on me!
Good as gold

jimmy wrote:All set to race tomorrow. They had some issues with the transponders and the top 20 had to re-run the prologue. Could have had some effect on the results.
Anyone who is interested I am bike 753.Good on ya Jimmy, go hard son finish with nothing in the tank

Wouldn’t worry about Grabbo’s qualifying mate
no one else has the experience at winning Finke in that list that he has. No one remembers qualifying
Interesting that the GHR boys are fastest in qualifying good result for them
AJ is a pleasant surprise in 3rd on the Yamaha

Wolfman wrote:Hi Amy.. Well I am keen to get home and try this ride on my new Victory!?Actually I am looking forward to getting on a real bike and hitting the trails with TB and the gang. Clubby has just informed me he is back on for the ride and I also believe we may have some of the YMA crew with us. Hope the weather is kind to us.
Wolfman
Wow not only does the Wolfman post but he posts from the other side of the world
A large crew and I see Clubby is back on the list :woohoo:
