Mick had one or still does, he never had any real problem actually the only dramas they had were rider induced (hose ripped of and continued to be ridden, kids  ) or Mick induced in the workshop repairing hose failure. His is a 100cc now as he converted it to a big wheel and hasnt looked back ;)

I would say they like any of the 85cc bikes are a good thing. All these sorts of bikes are only as good as they are maintained, there are no bad jap 85’s now days IMO, half of the bikes are made in the same place anyway

 put a screw driver between the pads James and lever them apart. Do both at the same time. If you get stuck leave it I will be in dural on Saturday and will give you a hand if you want. It’s easier to refit the wheel if you take the calipers of. Easier to open the pads up if you bolt them back on the forks while levering them apart.

Ring me you have my number

Oh it’s out. Yes he was doing it low key, there was a picture out before that on the advmag site Eags you must be slipping. Some credit to Any as well she spent some time talking to bones about it. He spoke with me months ago, I just gave him the same sort of advice I gave Amy and Kat. Oh and told him the thing will be 95% mental stamina

    Good in him ;)

No Deejay has an EVS that I believe saves his neck when he got knocked out.

The kids ones are Omega braces – http://www.omegabrace.com/
They seem really good and I am getting one for myself and they seem to sit lower than a Leatt ( good thing when you don’t have a neck  ) but can be adjusted up as well for longer necks. I also like the wider straps across the shoulders

Like Mal said try them all before you buy one

Cool pic’s Scott! Interested to know how you do them from the GoPro.

Do you have to click the Remote for stills shots for each one?
    OR
Do you have it set to take them at regular intervals?
    OR
Do you have it recording video and then rip the stills from the video?

I don’t have a GoPro so I’m not sure of the capabilty here, but I do know I’m a really lazy picture taker if I have a normal camera with me on a ride, basically it never leaves my backpack so it’s a waste of time me even carrying it! But I kick myself after every ride that I don’t have any pics! :pinch:

Maybe it’s time for me to go GoPro? B)

    Thx
    Razz

    PS Those trails look sweet!!

    G,Day Razzle,
I have got a contour and use i movie, but any cam on i movie would work the same, just starting to muck around with this. You can remove a still pick and add into your clip or you can save it in a j peg file and upload it or whatever from their, should be able to get that all important bike flipping shot of the vid.

Great pics STM 800+ pics must have some good ones,do you miss having vid action when your doing still mode the whole ride or switch it up?

Better add Macksville to my bucket list, buffed fire trails groomed single sounds tops.

    cheers

The GoPro3 allows you to record 1080p vid and set your stills interval timer to work at the same time.
Easy to get good shots on trails this good!!

Nice pics Scott was just about to add the GP3 feature of video and stills as I learned about it when I was away. Amazing what reading a manual can do  still amazes me all the features the GP black 3 has!

Back of topic, great report as usual mate

    More pls

Cheers for the input guys about the valve chrisis.

As at the moment $$ and time is a little bit of an issue I’m worried to pull the head off and put new valves in to find the seats are flogged out, I see kibblewhite valves on eBay but I thought I’d ask you guys if these are the real deals ? Also should I do my valve springs while there ?

If I’m going to do a rebuild I wouldn’t mind raising the compression ratio 1:12.5, anyone know if I need to change me jetting to suit this mod?

    Cheers guys

Ring and speak with Nick at Tekniks 47322626

If yours is an X and they are like the 250s you maybe able to fit the R head gasket to raise your comp a bit like I did with Nickj’s
Nick can also do the head, he was doing a special of 350 or something for a CRF head service. Easy to pull off and refit

Great report Rook, thanks for writing that up. As for the valves dont waste your time shimming them they wont last 6hrs. Put a set of Kibble whites in and away you go no mess no fuss. I would put a piston in as well at 150hrs if it hadnt been touched

    Thanks again

Granted Scott it is very similar to the white (which I still have the older HD version of and use all the time with my other ones) it does all the stuff I need for youtube

    Video resolution:1080P, 960P, 720P,WVGA
    Frames per second:
    30 frames/1080P,960P,720P
    60 frames/720P

Now for anything on youtube its covered isnt it? I am a go pro man but I figured I should try something and the kids can have them anyway and I have more GoPro stuff than most shops :pinch: I ordered the diver packs for the water proof case

Yeah as per our phone call Chris grab me 2 of them. See how they go, I will use them as the cameras that could get smashed  those extreme mounting positions, if they are a good thing well its a bonus. They would have to be hard pushed to be better than a Black 3 Pro. The footage from mine on the weekend is incredible to say the least. Lochie can have one to replace that stupid other thing we bought :pinch:

Will do a review and product test
