Quote:Something good happened to me this morning,I was at the can in my shed and had the radio on and they announced that the first motorcycle to fill up with fuel at our local servo wins a motorcycle tool kit, the XR started first kick and I roared out of the shed into the rain,i was dressed in a Tshirt, boardies and thongs and rode the 150 meters up the road to claim my prize. Although it isnt that I need another tool roll,it was the thrill of the chase!! The owner of the servo couldn’t believe that 3 minutes after they announced it on the radio the XR roared in the drive way and skidded to a halt next to the bowser.
Ha ha I love living here!!Did you win because you are the only person in Wauchope with a radio or because the owner of the servo is your brother, sister, dad, uncle etc?
Nah good on yah Mick, didnt scare any of the horses in the main street did ya, at least with the rain there wouldnt have been much dust in the main street
Nah I am sorry I am just in a s*#t stirring mood, I will be nice now
Congrats on the tool kit, got a photo

The 3 states ride has to start and finish at Parkes as we have a shearers quarters for the start and for the half black tie party at the end
But having said that what about a two day ride weekend from Dubbo and an overnight stay at Parkes and a ride back, that’s sounds sweet
TB
What about a weekend ride, and an overinight stay at Parkes and a rum!

Quote:I think you just about sumed it up there TB. Good report. But you left out the part where i was riding like a gumby and half took you out without even knowing before the woop section!!God damn boy if you rode like a gumby I dont want to ride with you when youre on it!, Yeah forgot that, in the tight single line rutted stuff that runs beside the roads near the pines I said to gilli go in front, of we pedal and I was trying to hang onto the back of Gilli because I knew he would smoke through the whoops when he sought of got a bit loose I was carrying good speed so I thought I would take the wide line as I came beside him his back wheel hit a rock and kicked sideways and knocked my front wheel, exit stage right through the trees lol I stayed upright but had stalled the big girl. I was laughing when I asked Gilli did he feel it, he said no but said it had hit a rock and whipped sideways. Theres was a nice tyre mark on the fork leg when I was washing the bike
