Good luck getting hold on Bana, he hasnt been seen since he told Moto he would go for a ride in the Watagans and hasnt been heard from since. He has spent more money than Allan Bond on that DR of his and am sure if you asked him he wouldnt do it again I reckon.
Open the air box, put a pipe on it and a JD jetting kit in it, regear it and have a ball.
Try the wreckers for a wheel or e bay.

Those pushbikes are dangerous, bad news those

Quote:Hmmm….I gave it a good rattle and shake and got nothing. It’s all in the wrist I suppose :pThere must have been a bit of fuel in there still that hadn’t evaported that was preventing it from rattling. At least we know for sure that they should have been blind holes. Both of the top ones bleed fuel.
I haven’t touched those bolts since I’ve had the bike so couldn’t have been me. I think the crack was caused by a track inspection since I’ve bever touched those bolts and it only started leaking fuel a couple of rides ago…
My new tank should be here this week but would be good to fix the old one up. I’ll sort Chris out for his troubles, tell him not to worry about wrecking it, other than the fuel tap it would have gone in the bin anyway
Yeah next week we will do it, this week we are tied up loading and sorting tee shirts for the web site, quotes for new stickers and getting ready to go to Louee

It is a tough thing to say but they need to have a couple of moderate offs to realise that speed equals danger and danger equals pain.Oh so true, sometimes we all need that
Ok then there will be cameras and helmet cams I am sure I am taking mine

Quote:Cheers guys. I’m pretty sure the screws in there are the right ones, but I’m also pretty sure they should be blind/cappped holes. Something isn’t quite right!I have ordered a new one Gili, but would like to fix the f*#ked one for spares in case I crack it again. I don’t think I’ll have a hope in hell for a warranty replacement as good as it sounds.
Hey Moto I was checking your tank out here this arvo and after giving it a good shake I found a small piece of plastic in the tank. I had to cut a large hole in the tank with a jig saw to get my hand in to get it out, nah just made that up the hole thing that is. After some fiddling I got it out and it is the blind hole piece from the top screw hole that was going right through, remember the hole that wasnt blind where the others are blind. I have taken some photos of the piece but cant upload them yet as someone has lost the camera lead. The piece looks as though it has had to long a screw bottomed in it and breaking it from the tank and it has cracked away from the tank, thus causing the crack !
Can it be fixed well I am waiting for Chris to ring me back
Didnt say it wasnt sexy
