TB for someone that has no neck you seem to worry about neckbraces a bit. Why bother protecting something that isn’t there? Next you will be wanting to wear a cricket box when you ride.HAHAHAHAHAHA

On the weekend I feel that I may have meet the squirrel, I put this to you all

Speaking of braces the person in question is big into braces, knows bikes, can tell people how to ride, knows alot of us or has the ability to get the knowledge needed, has his own shop and is a stirrer.

Is a rat like a squirrel, more so an orange rat?

    LOL:laugh:

Good onya Yuri. As a fully qualified volunteer surf lifesaver, and having completed my 5 week intensive, 2 hour, 1 night a week course, I am well versed on the human body and understand the strains us doctor types have whilst undergoing training. If you ever need any help just let me know (I still have the lifesaving manual which tells you everything) :P

Congrats on the return Mac, I haven’t ridden for 1 weekend and am stinging to get out! It must be a biatch breaking your wrist and having a few weeks out…

After a little research Orange is at 863m above sea level. Less than I had expected. For information this will still rob you of around 13% less power.

Maybe the thinner air slows your brain down by 13% too, so you don’t notice the power loss….ha ha ha :P

    Moto,

If you are using all the power of your 450 and 13% will slow you down or I think even notice it I will supply, and pay in full your 4 day ride! Because based upon that I think you would be top 5.

Years ago at Louee I had the chance to ride around a 15min loop on 4 different bikes, quickest time of the day for me was on a WR250R, Slowest was a WR450R (it felt the quickest) I felt I could use all the 250, but not half of the 450. Now I ride a 650 you say, yes it has more power than 450’s even with lightened flywheel, HRC race cams, major head work etc its slower in its delivery than a 450 making it easier to ride. Yet it can be hit hard ask Mick up the top its a cranky thing. Even on my best day I wouldnt go near using all that bike as would most punters, this is why KTM is making a 400, Ballards sleeved down a 450 to 400 last year I read, its why Ben Grabham won Finke with a 450 on a horse power track (Finke) using a stock internal engine, we saw his bike built from crate to race, T4 exhaust, jetting, Vortex, stock stock stock, including valves!

I will give you one thing mate, your a clever dick with those formulas, I had to go down to our tech dept just to check you hadnt called me a name in all those formulas!

Cheers Moto, I look forward to having a rum with you, hey whats with you and the squirrel?

Do you re-jet the BRP for the altitude?

Ha ha ha Moto you are a scream !!!!!

If I was competing for an outright spot against David Knight, who by the way I would smoke because I am Honda mounted B) , I would consider checking my jetting, but really I think it would be ok trail riding, no one I have ever taken up there has ever had a drama.

    You would be welcome

But thats the plan, I will be looking for numbers when it gets closer but thats the plan.

    Moto,

My family live in Orange, I lived in Orange for for a fair period of my life, so with local knowledge I was planning on going to watch and do some riding in other areas up there, including the best single line pines forest riding I know of. I also linned up free camping at the olds property, yes its cold but really just suck it up!

The plan is the follow the event on our bikes and do our own riding as well.

If any old bulls ride I can help out with crewing etc as we have done it before

I was going to ask the where the hell you got the fuel drum from! TB will have panniers next, those 50/50 tyres and will be leading ‘Trailtours’ up and down the roads out West:P

Mick had taken fuel out and put there the day before, you bone head! TB will not have panniers or heading up and down the roads out west, I see we have to get out in the forest and sort this out Moto. No 50/50 tyres either

Drill it, throw an easy out through it and twist it out happy days , drain the sludge bang some oil in and that new plug in, ring work tell them your sick  and see you there.
    B)

Look I am sure the guys there are cool as B) , (at DBW) and it wasnt meant to happen like that but they are so anal (the owners / moderators ) and over the top regarding name dropping etc that I cant do anything but do a ride and someone will work out we are Old Bulls and Thumpertalks and Adventure riders and DBW’s and BRP site and Kawaski forum members and they may or may not deal with it but thats life

    See you there
