We are out of the game, stuck in the hill tonight ( that’s what the locals call it  ) the others are camping at Mendinee lakes and will continue to Trangie tomorrow where we will meet them.

It’s been a tough ride

Strucky traded his DR in on the latest model in Broken Hill with the track maintenance attachment, still needed push starting like all good DRs

    null_zps09b7df13.jpg

Afterwards the boys found a park bench to rest on

    null_zps2a99e7f8.jpg

There was an incident at the play centre when Strucky wouldn’t leave after we let him have a play was dragged away kicking and screaming even a bubble O bill wouldn’t settle him. Ace has let him stay up late and had to much sugar this trip

Crash waited for the Indian pacific so we could attach Ace and Strucky’s spot tracker too. We figured Eagle would melt down as it headed to Perth non stop

Late start today, we have agreed on meeting at 10 in front of the town hall / police station. This gives everyone a chance to do whatever the need or want to.
The Tenere triplets took a cabin last night Ace and Strucky hard cored it ;) looking forward to today’s run to Menidee lakes, was a fav of mine on the 2010 washout Cameron tour. Probably go to Ivanhoe tonight I think, will see how it goes things should be casual to the last night (big night) at Trangie

Count me in please. Put an expression of interest in earlier in the piece and have since been sourcing the required upgrades to make it around the course. Strapping a 10l jerry to the back of my DRZ400 is not going to cut it.

Riding solo so anyone else keen to join me at the back of the pack appreciated. Bonus if got a Montana GPS and can save me time reading the manual the night before.

Yeah champ sorted, got some range tonight all done watch the thread for updates

No Hattah Eags and $200 a day is heaps. This trip from home to home including tubes and piss everything including extras 2k will cover this one and James it could be done cheaper than we have done it to date.

We are having breaky Leigh Creek as I type this. The plan is Yunta tonight but we didn’t have the average speed I thought we would this morning. The ride around the back of Arkaroola was boney as well but unbelievable great ride and great sites

Good read Nick, Rookie that was one of the things I suggested to Nick. Remembering of course it’s not his bike he wasn’t going to throw parts at it. I have more thoughts and ideas about this but will if I remember later add them as I need to gear up right now and get on the bike. All very interesting, thanks again for putting it together Nick :)
