Anyone super spray their bike with silicon spray, including under the guards so the mud doesnt stick?

I would be up for sampling Mick, you would also have to make sure people take their samples the same way, as chicken, crash and myself all worked at Cat we have had it drumed into us that oil samples are to be drawn up the tibe stick hole and not from draining oil from the sump plug because crap can fall from around the plug and other things that not allow for accurate results.

I run the same oil as Chicken, the difference is I change my oil as so as it starts to change colour, as soon it changes from the tan colour I change it. When we went to the cape I had to change after one real hard work, high reving 380km day, yet I did 1300km easy running before it discoloured.
The 4 day I did the whole event without an oil change, that was about 680 odd klms and it was ok, but ready for a change after the eventChanging your oil is the the cheapest maintenance you can do, I use Motul 5100 ester 10/40

Yeah I am with you there Crash and even more important will be giving Mark a thought as well and hope he gets better soon.
I dont know Mark but as Crash said he is living his dream and running middle to rear of the field as any of us would.
Will see if we can stay on top of Marks condition.
