Mate has the dearest DR in Australia and has been asked to post his DR setup tips but nothing yet.
I helped set a mates up before he went to the dark side (road riding)

1/ Suspension set up, can do it yourself see tech tips or bike prep threads on the forum or better still take it to Fathead at Battyes doesnt cost much when you see how much better and safer your bike is

2/ Bark busters, radiator guards and bash plate

3/ Good tyres and Michellin heavy duty tubes

4/ Exhaust, staintune tail pipe baffle out

    5/ JD jetting kit

6/ Get rid of the speedo and fit a trip meter CRF Honda one or WR Yamaha one fit the cable end I am told, can get them on e bay in the states

7/ Good brake pads, again Fathead can hook you up with the best of pads they arnt cheap but I am still running the same ones from the 4 day in 2006 and they dont wear the discs

That will do for now lol

Contact me if I can help through PM

Bana there are more DR’s here than just about anything else how about sharing you setup with these people that are here and have asked? It could help them and save them all the dramas you have had, you could sell some camshafts in the for sale section

Hey TB, I’ve been thinking, that the spring probably broke at YM, because if it had been floating around in there for very long you would probably seen more carnage inside the fork and piston.
As it turns out deciding not to ride on day 2 at YM may have worked in your favour??? Just a thought.

Yeah thats what I have thought, doesnt matter its all said and done now
