Been a bit quiet here sorry

Congratulations all the team members and supporters here as a team we had a target of 5K and as of tonight we were had raised $5245 :woohoo: :woohoo: which we can add to at the onsite auction. I have to pick something’s up tomorrow that I have secured from suppliers for the auction on site, riding gear (maybe even a helmet) and stuff to raise some extra. Another thing OBT do for the event is to lead the routes, sweep and support as well as raise money. Last year Deejay dug deep and ran his own car and picked up dead bikes, Boulder and Kram were the super sweeps helped by PTW at times.

The two day route there (not and easy one this year given the distance) all the fuel and food stops are done and locked in. Accommodation places that can fit and feed everyone (lunch stops etc) have been sorted just leaving the Saturday route to be sorted. The final crisis was fixed today when Mick got his forks :pinch: (thank God  ) so his second NX should be registered Mick? Updates there have been quiet of late with team NX getting two old bikes over the line has been testing at times I hear  The Wauchope crew leave tomorrow don’t you Mick? Mick has to work first even though he has the day off
The Tenere is sorted my car is being a support vehicle this year as well, car is serviced, trailer wheel bearings done trailer loaded and Salina’s directions written out (she doesn’t do my style GPS routes  ) Steve (Wolfman) Smith from Adv Moto is supplying the other official support vehicle again driving and recovering broken bikes, Steve gives bulk to this charity every year and yet never seems to get a ride himself  . Pezz today he is ready so let’s get it on.

Thanks to everyone involved and an extra thanks to the people that have helped me get the final details over the line. Oh and special to Lefty sweeping on his own for the first day ;) Mick and another of the guys will sweep day 2 cheers guys.

    Hello again all.

It was a good event. Conditions were the complete opposite of last year. Dry and dusty was the order of the day. Course was very rough by the end. There were some good challenges and single trail. We managed to come 7th out of 62 in the pairs and 30th out of 190 odd outright. Very happy with that and very sore to boot. We just managed to beat the bloke who won ironman. Blows my mind how tough the ironmen must be. I was that far gone at the end of the day I could only drink 2 beers before hitting the sack. Then I couldn’t get to sleep until my brain had re-ridden two laps of the track. The pit crew reckons I did 3 laps in a row in my last stint. We were only doing two each but apparently I had lost the ability to count.

A bit dusty at the end of a long day

Two man team 30th outright   Smashed them Roy! That’s an amazing effort almost un old bull like :P congratulations to you and your team mate as I said that’s an amazing effort ;)

We are trucking up the highway after a great weekend. It was a brilliant event and OBT represented very well. I have a lot of footage and will load it up over the next few days.
Our team goal was to come in the top half of our class and we exceeded our expectation and almost made it into the top quarter overall. We are all stoked.

Cheers Scott look forward to the footage and the details. Thanks for the call yesterday I was wondering how you guys had gone

The White Knight was spotted cruising through Penrith mid morning today!

Galloping through, with his fair maiden Salina-ion, Sir Lunch-alot was headed for his Kingdoms outpost of St Albans!

Was a bottle of Moet cracked over the headset or was it one of those “Nancy” Rums he drinks?

The 660 White Knight will now need a wash down and polish.

Excellent way to introduce her to what lays ahead!

You goose     for the record I had a crownie ;)

Well its sort of finished ready for a run tomorrow, I never had a problem with my wiring unlike some others. The new bike I have wired differently so when I swap it out for the next one it will be much easier.

Yes Aaron is the answer the 2005 four day was what convinced me. As I walked Parc Ferme it seemed every bike had one. I thought with that many people using them they must work and do.
