Do police have the right to drag you off your bike before they know if you are rego or not.
And did not use a stop police sign. I didn’t stop to find out and they tried to pull me off 2 nd gear

There would have to be more to this  If thats what happened something must have pushed ol mates buttons. I have always found them to be fair and reasonable (even when I have been doing the wrong thing which I have once or twice )

I reckon if he wanted you off the bike that bad, something must have happened. Was it even the real police? Are you riding with 10 guys on unregoed MX bikes missing mufflers outside his mums house

    Just saying

My fail safe process to deal with police.
    1) get a licence
    2) get rego
    3) ride in legal area like a state forest
    4) understand that even then you can get done on a technicality like blinkers or from riding on single track.
    5) cooperate with police, you may need them on your side one day
    6) speak to police in a manor befitting point 4 and 5

This has worked in multiple occasions, one time the copper actually pointed out some sweet single to us on his map!

Best post I have seen here for a while ;)

Axel, they just dont work like a GPS and arent as reliable. I have tested them as we get customers asking at rideadv now. Cant beat a Garmin GPS for ease, reliability and keeping it simple. Also I write the routes for 5000 way points a day around 99% of Garmin products

    Hi Everyone,

The entry form and final details have been out for a while now. We have sent entry to everyone that has registered an interest in the event. (If you haven’t received an email info@rideadv.com.au ASAP) If you reserved spots for mates or others that want to go get them to email us and get an entry form sent out so they can get a spot locked in or miss out. We may have to cap the event soon so don’t miss out. For entry forms go to

    http://www.rideadv.com.au/rides/2014…ridge-tk-ride/

For those that want tyres ordered to fit or be fitted at Adventure Moto on the Saturday see back a few posts, and get them ordered before the COB Monday the 25th. If you are staying at the Sydney Hills Holiday Park adjacent to Adventure Moto HQ on the Saturday night before with us please book so you don’t miss out. We are having a BBQ, tyre fitting, GPS lessons, last minute shopping at Adv Moto and GPS loading during the afternoon.

We will be having an auction on the Wednesday night at Nambucca raising money for Motor Neuron Disease. We have Simon Burke a stock and station agent from Tamworth donating his time to host the auction. We are organising auction items at the moment and will be right up to the event. If you have something you would like to donate for the auction please contact Greg at info@rideadv.com.au to organise where to send it or for pick up if required. Every dollar raised on the Wednesday night at Nambucca will go to Motor Neuron research charity.

The dinner on Wednesday night will be a bistro affair with a licensed bar during the GPS loading before the auction. Please book accommodation if you aren’t camping and remember the Woodenbong Pubs awesome complete meal deal on the last night. The Woodenbong pub is also running a bus from the showground to the pub and back all night. If you aren’t camping and want the accommodation details and where deals have been sorted, email info@rideadv.com.au. Most we believe are camping at the showgrounds or camping areas at the Nundle Van Park and Nambucca. There will be a mandatory riders briefing every night at 7pm with possible handouts for the following day.

Each rider will receive a showbag with TK ride and industry supplied goodies

Watch your emails, here and http://www.rideadv.com.au for updates and details as it gets closer

Congrats to all that rode, I know what a 4 day is like and it’s pretty intense for a week. The whole lead up, preparation, scrutineering, walking tests, the whole deal. Again well done, LC you sounded pumped when I spoke with you a day or two before the ride. It’s a bug they reckon, take what you learned and go again
