A bit closer to home too!TB, look out for “MOD” a navigationally challenged Irishman who rides a GS800. I think he has registered on the site but I’ll give him a nudge.
He has ridden his Beemer from Alaska to the bottom of South America recently so should have some stories to tell. He was keen for the next nav ride when I spoke to him last week.
Wigster
Yeah he has emailed me already, he is on
It has started filling already

Plenty of beer, tequila, home made whiskey and brownies after 2 days riding makes day 3 pretty tough. Probably the reason Ev didn’t make it up the hill but you get that on the big jobs!!!!!Mate its a big hill, all efforts on that hill rate I reckon under the weather or not

Great pictures and videos guys awesome :woohoo: Thanks for sharing. Hey LC I have done a fair bit of riding down there and the hills are steep  Bloody Steep in spots eh.
Looks like a great weekend, well done LC and co.Credit where credit is due but you should know in 2006 at the A4DE pork chop was an option on the trail time sections day 1 and 3. Now 99% of the field pros and the likes (myself and the other wooducks included) took the easy pork chop bypass  Crash our ex King rode straight up pork chop day 3, non stop on an XR400

A bit more form last nights effort.
Swingarm was removed from both of the bikes, the old one had the swingarm bushes and bearings repacked and the new one packed for the first time. I fitted the new chain from the new bike to the old one, including new chain and sprockets. I also fitted the new cush drive because I wanted the keep the twin race bearing cush drive I have
New one swingarm out
Standard Sachs shock to be removed to go into the old bike
My Ohlins fitted to the new bike
A new 46 tooth rear sprocket and a gold RK chain
Head light protector, tank back on
Mick’s finished and ready for pick up, oh after its paid for

The hard earned will need to be transfered this week or there will be a good low miles known bike back on the market with at least two others after it. Brace yourself for a phone call with account details Michael
