Awesome Pete you da man. I was actually going to buy a postie but I am riding that KTM 530 at the moment, samething really :P

Ok it’s not I miss the superior handling and power of the postie

On topic Pete bring the postie on the Scrapheap ride mate, I am leading it on behalf of OBT, even if it’s doesnt qualify it doesn’t matter everyone bar Eagle is welcome :)

When I get the XLV 750 going and registered I will give you a ring as I need a couple of shake down rides to make sure it’s a reliable goer, will be in touch

I should also add that Toes said it was 5 kilos and we thought that it was, until afterwards when I came clean and told Nick and someone weighed the bag and it was 4 kilos

Dribble just dribble Hatto but then you never fail to deliver do you :P

Ha  unlike you Hatto I have things that need to be done  Its got a heap of good points and some not so good. It isnt the be all and end all thats for sure but its good. In the over 500cc four stroke market it maybe the pick and I like big bore four strokes. Crash and a few others will be able to add their input when I do a decent write up (wont be in this thread either deserves a better thread than this) I will also it looks like be riding a new 450 or two soon so that will be a good gauge eh. I also will try it with a Michelin front in a week or two I decieded this morning, will be interested to see if its the tyre or the bike.

Time Hatto time and by the way the Honda wont be going anywhere, now or ever (bet you wont say that about your orange turd turner  )

How funny was the footage Nickj caught of his own big come off!!!! That $50,000,000 Goggle camera, certainly payed off that time!! I would have been happy enough to sit there all night and watch that over and over!

I was just thinking. All that grass track and no spills. I find that hard to believe. Now we’ve had the glory shots I can’t wait for the carnage shots. Great photos. Thanks for sharing.

Roy, From all reports and from the footage I saw, a majority of the spills were out in the bush. Not that many incidents on the grass track. Which is surprising considering it was freshly cut with a slasher just before the boys hit it. It looked bloody slippery to us spectators. I did see Nickj make a miraculous highside save when he was riding Spuds WR450 though.

Chicken low sided the big XR two or three times on the grass track. It was slippery in parts, and the cut grass on the track was worst. Even though there was no racing there was some serious non racing on :P Everyone rode well all weekend ;)

Interesting Roy, Colebatch who is quoted in the article is a guy whom I have been following as he does some cracker rides and a good write. The first of his I read was on ADV rider and was a ride through Russia along their trans railway. Thanks for sharing
