So its on this year, any takers ??? :whistle:I am supposed to be delivering the Mayor to the airport that day for him and the family to fly to the USA. Seeing as the Mayor will be donating $20 to the charity jugg (coffs) for my chauffeur services I had better stick to that sorry mate

$20 is cheap for a nights accommodation, baked dinner and chauffeur services would you agree Mick? Maybe too cheap price may have to be time to agree dependent  Will check when I land in Melbourne if he is undecided I will put it up by 10 every couple of hours

Well done

The best thing to do is ride everything you can befor you make up your mindStorky is right, just make sure you ride it where you will be riding or the same sort of territory. Too many people test ride it around the block it isnt the same  done it myself

That’s rubbish I get 130k on mine.
..
That comes from they rode with a gasser 300 today that used 10 litres and went onto reserve at 70kms, ran out at 80 something I am told.
white rocket wrote:steering dampers are for fast stuff can not see them helping you murph but i may be wrongI agree with you Rocket I dont think a damper will fix your problem. Slide the forks through the clamps first I reckon, try the clickers, different tyre pressures as well. Also check your rear sag, to much sag will be raking the front out, make sure the rear is right. You would be surprised how many people chase a front end problem that is caused by the rear

All else fails post it up in the Tekniks forum here and get some advice from Rudy
Good luck Murph, and BTW post up what sorts it eh

Looks ok Chris, three questions come to mind
Where can one purchase such product?
How much do they cost?
Do they make them for my Tenere? (probably could look that up for myself  ) OK I will stratch the last question

We are starting at my place a 5 am if Deejay is on time
and going elsewhere but will aim to have a counter lunch at Westy today. Watch the spot Eags and join us for lunch :laugh:TB
Adventure Moto (Steve) has donated some awesome cool vests, some Wolfman fender bags and other kit for auction

Maybe on a Coffs hill if you have footage King

That’s rich coming from someone that’s scared of the widow maker
Friday let’s go to the widow maker and keeping going up and down Nick until someone (you) gives up, loser donates $100 to charity ?
There he goes again Nick. Trying to change the ride routes already!

STM
I hope the money he has paid you to say that goes to charity
I propose we go after the Friday ride, there is day light savings it could be an individual thing for charity
TB
If you can stay off the cans on the drive up and show up to ride on Friday TB I will throw $20 in the jug.
Ok done and I will throw $20 in if you lead us back out to the widow maker Friday arvo after the ride
unless Jacko pulls out in which case I will put the $20 in regardless with Jacko’s 100 :laugh:TB
November 17, 2011 at 11:04 pm in reply to: ADV ride sat 19th Nov 2011 Starts Mt Victoria 6am sharp #211774So no takers then eh just Deejay and I 6am Mt Vic. Follow the spots if you are interested we will poke along all day hopefully and cover some miles like I said could be good APC practice which is 500kms/day minimum all off road

What’s the APC? click here
Well if there is a late change of mind see you there
TB
Yeah leave it for charity Corey, the challege is there, King says if we get back on sat at 4.30 fuel it would take 8 mins to get to the widow maker. Make some money for a good cause and return for the nights drinking and eating waiting for Jacko now
Seriously though it is all for charity
Also discussed was the idea of a Old Bull boot sale ( without the boot  ) bring anything you want to sell, someone buys it money to charity, like the free to a good home thread we have but no postage, money to charity.
