So the camp fire died down and we wandered off to bed, was a big day planned for the next day

Everyone was up at 5.45 stoves boiled some had coffee and everyone was ready to ride at 6.40am. I walked down to the crossing and had a look at the river

And the crossing

Spotted some interesting chainsaw work, couldn’t have been Boulder even though he had been cutting wood in his sleep all night

Everyone read it was time for the little man to fire up the BIG XR, the block of wood was bought out and the procedure started

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hSAyIU3EiB8&feature=youtube_gdata_player
So a little push and away it went no worries. Once it was going Lefty launched it up the embankment behind the camp, bloody ripper effort on the big girl (Lefty can ride
) but the gods didn’t reward his effort as there was some number 8 fencing wire in the grass at the top of the embankment
Deejay stuck his head in to help

Soon it was all fixed, the XR fired up easy and we got the thumbs up from Deejay

More later including the Kowmung River crossing
