Can be changed with two tyre levers a front can anyway. Three or four levers and no problems just like a normal tyre, the levers are just harder to get in to the bead. Lube the levers, use a rubber hammer and put the levers in about two inches apart. Try and use three or four but two can do the job.
Pull one side of the tyre of, push the tyre across the rim pull the mousse out and take the tyre off. To fit it back up lube the inside of the tyre with mousse lube and lube the mousse. Fit one side of the tyre and then put the mousse in the tyre, push the mousse into the rim and then lever the tyre on, it’s hard but well lubed it can be done.I did these videos a couple of months ago and hadn’t posted them so they may help, you don’t need all the levers and the stand really, as many levers as you have.
It’s not my best camera work but it may help

Been out road tripping today, these school buses are everywhere on week days. I have always wondered why they have never changed. They look the same old bus they have always been. Well today I found out they keep the same colour and shape so everyone knows they are a school bus. They build them new, all the latest running gear and engines retain the design, interesting

Drove around looked at some of the old wooden bridges built in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. We wondered why they are covered in, we can only think it’s sooty horses couldn’t see the drop into the river and didn’t spook

We saw this pick truck outside a church, rednecks

Cummins powered

Check the exhausts

Went to the thirty six Saloon bar and grill for lunch, tried a couple of Miller beers, still no Bundy

Seen bloody snow ploughs everywhere, new ones on the lots, like you can buy a new pick up with a plough attachment  You see them everywhere

Everything seems legal, like a Baja style buggy driving around legal like, followed this one past a county police radar setup

I’m sure your change of heart wasn’t influenced by the fact he is now riding a Honda.

No it isn’t at all Scotty, I support Grabbo and he rides a shit box KTM, I supported Lowndes when he drove Fords and they are shit. Got nothing to do with it, he is just lucky as it works out. Funny though when he had fund (sort of) his own ride he choose the best
they only started supplying factory parts towards the end of the in-door seriesTB
pedro wrote:hi choot du think it really needs itCan’t answer for Choot but I can for Nickj and myself cause we ride together most of the time. The three major things the Tenere needs / responds to are suspension, damper and decent pegs. After that higher bars etc
Nick and I have the earlier Rallye Moto damper ( all the same adjustments ) which Steve at Adventure Moto still have stock off I think. ( can do it cheaper with old bull discount) The only advantage I can see in my opinion between the two is fitting the fat bars as I can get a higher bend with the lift from the under bar kit which is real good when real off roading or long stints on the bike and the strength of the fat bars. The standard ones I found bent real easy and you dont want bent bars on day two of a 6 day ride  all of which is only my opinion Choots is a nice small unit that retains the standard setup if you want that.
Below is the story and pictures of the fitting, sorry if the response is long winded I
am sitting here in the states waiting for people and am bored
Fitted my damper today, wasnt the easiest damper I have ever fitted I have to say but worked out great

Original setup with bar risers

The ignition cover needs to come off, two phillip screws

Once the cover was removed it reveled the steering lock bolts are shear bolts. Once they are tight they shear and it prevents people unbolting the steering lock

I drilled a small hole in the cente and once I was sure it was in the centre I drilled it as big as I dared below the head height

I then used a drill bigger than the bolt shaft size to get rid of the head

I used an easy out and removed both bolts

Both bolts out, ready for the pin bracket

Once done I removed the standard bar mounts and mounted the bar mount bracket, it needed a spacer between the rubber mounts and the bracket

It was now I discovered I hadn’t listened to Steve when he said it is a fat bar mount, I flew down got Suttos and got a few sets of bars so I could try a few before I decided. (try that with your cheap US web shops  )
Once a set was found I bolted it all up and happy days

I then drilled and tapped a thread to mount my GPS

The only other thing need was a fat bat bark buster mount kit

micknmeld wrote:Trailboss wrote:What results do they have in state and Aus title rounds Mick ?
Better than any of my results!
They both are consistent riders in the State rounds over the years.
Yeah of course that goes without saying  but I was asking to understand your question regarding why they hadn’t been picked up by a manufacturer. Club rounds are different to something that gets major media like state and national rounds only the top get the deals there. But a local morth coast shop should have the fore site to get their name on them. Could be good for a local business etc and done cheaply some support is better than no support it’s all local, a servo even then everyone at the races sees the support and then goes to the local servo cause it’s supporting the business that supports the sport they love. Any local support can do it, it’s a case of people getting of their arse and selling the concept trust me it works, look at the support and sponsorship that Crash and I had when we did the A4de including a magazine deal  we had better support then some of the riders in the top 15 and we are a couple of swappers
If you don’t ask you will never know

Oh yeah great results boys well done. It’s good to see you getting out and getting into it rather than watching, Moose should have had another go although I think he has benched himself he told me
Any handle bars snap Ollie if they just get it the right way  And from experience it’s not the crashes you think that would do it?
