Who might be using the Transmoto as training for a single assault on the Condo 750 this year?

Good luck to the OBT member!!! Go the yellow handguards!

I see they’re having a 12km prologue to work out the starting order this year! And even a parade!

    Crash

I’m going with Badbowie (even though TB has chatted to him today). Unless one of the million DRZ riders on the site sre doing Condo. B)

Questions Crash. Does the ‘single’ assault mean:

    a) First and only one time look for me in the top ten racer boy type single go at Condo

    b) I’m using a single cylinder bike and I’m cool for doing so :silly:

    c) I’m entering as a single rider, no help wanted, needed or given. Just me the bike and a million rocks along fence lines at silly speeds.

    I got nothing really.

OK I will answer your questions ;)

    a) Maybe ;)  Although he may have done Condo before not sure

    b) He is riding a single cylinder bike as is nearly everyone :P and maybe he is cool I dont know he will have to fess up and answer that one :P

    c) He has a support person / persons going. Silly speeds rock :woohoo: As does the bulldust, the rocks, the people its a great event

Hope that helps, oh and it itsnt Badbowie ;)

Using logic which could be argued is a dangerous thing for me..

the only people in this thread with any sort of relation is sb_250y and badbowie.. badbowie brought up TB and sb is riding with Losta..

But SB is riding with Lotsa on a different weekend thats not the Condo weekend so he is free to ride both ;) It isnt Badbowie he and I have chatted today :)

But above enters another player  , Krusty making his racing debut, thats why he isnt doing the High Country I am betting ;) He has yellow hand guards if my memory serves me well

TB, it is bad luck that Krustofferson can’t make it however, it is not the end of the world for me. I’m happy for you to revise the cap down to 6 on this trip as I have no doubt there will be other adventures that I can go on with you Guys.

Having said that, I will coming down to Gunning on the Thursday night to get on the Ha Ha sauce with you all and see you off on the Friday morning.

When talking to Fish on Mick’s birthday weekend, he mentioned that both him and Boulder were undecided if they were riding or trailering down to Gunning so I would be more than happy to drag there bikes down there for them if that suits.

The above is based on short notice and possible pressure put on the 8th rider that at this point is not known.

Anyway, as I’ve been in Melbourne for the past 4 + months, I could spend some extra kiddy time with my kids.

    Cheers Gaz

Gaz hold on for a minute we are waiting on Bollocks announcing he is coming

Unfortunately Krusty has had to with draw from this ride. That means there is a space available for the High Country part of this ride. The ride leaves Gunning (near Canberra) at 7am on Friday the 1st of April and returns to Gunning on the afternoon / evening of Monday the 4th of April. The ride is planned as a camp each night ride although things could change, we may stay somewhere but don’t plan for that. You will need to be self sufficient for all evening meals. Lunch will be wherever during the day (trail snacks would help) a 300km fuel range is required in case one of the planned stops doesn’t have fuel / weather conditions force a change or just because. You will be paired with Gaz as your riding buddy (Gaz is good value)
    The planned route is below
Gunning to Omeo 446kms. (fuel @ Corryong 290kms)

    Omeo to Dargo 148kms (fuel)

    Dargo to Swifts Creek 75kms
    (304kms)
    Swifts Creek to Ensay 82kms

    Ensay to Omeo 51kms (fuel)

    Omeo to Tom Groggin 120kms

Tom Groggin to Jindabyne 54kms (fuel)

    Jindabyne to Gunning 281ks
(Jindabyne to Captains Flat 254kms )

Please PM me if you are interested

Congratulations to you and your wife on your little girl mate that’s great news really is. There could be no better reason for being off the bike I reckon. Enjoy it because they grow up so fast :(

Glad you’re getting a good run out of the TM after the Kato, although it honed your spanner skills I guess. I always admired your give it a go yourself approach, and you had heaps of success which showed it can be done ;)
