Nice report Bollocks and thanks for sharing your thoughts and views. I agree anytime on any bike is better than no riding or being the type of person that hangs shit on something they haven’t done or tried. I used to enjoy my road bikes as well in the day but always liked the dirt more. I really do love the motard wheels on my XR when I fit them but alas if I do much of that I will be walking (instead of driving) or dead  it’s soooooooo much fun 👿

Do it all mate I say, I have done most all there is to do on bikes and love it all just some parts more than others

Camerons will be a legend trip this year I can’t wait, don’t know if the bemmer is the bike for it though, what’s doing with the XT??

Snow ask the people that have had the their bikes done, better still ask the DR riders. And ask the ones that had it done properly not just springs. It’s costs, but ask micknmeld how much your skin is worth as he had a big moment that he admits he wouldn’t have rode out before he had his done. Organise a ride on Nickjs or Boulders at Wauchope, it’s as much for safety and enjoying your ride as it is for the extra pace you will gain safely

    STM,

There is truth in what you say here. Back in 2005 when I was looking for a XR400 (now owned by OWL 01) I got so pissed off trying to find the right machine and was ready to give up. Any way,I had to go to Canberra on business for a couple of days and while away my wife found the ideal bike. The fact that it was located in Melbourne didn’t bother her either. She called me and said you’re in Canberra, just keep going to Melbourne and get. This totally blew me away however, I did take her advice.

So in summation, they do care when something as important to us Guy’s is bugging us and in your case Teza, maybe a round table is in order.

Boony thats what I wrote three posts ago

I was chasing WHO actuall does it TB, I know everyone should!!but who actually goes to the trouble ..

Yeah ok, Boulder had his suspension done probably ages ago and he has been around. I have fitted a heavier rear spring to Gaz’s and had his springs done by Tekniks. Krusty’s is the same although we dont know what his front end setup is or what weight (tekniks did it for the previous owner) rear spring I changed for him
