19 front .apparantly bmw1200 are the same size,if you know of anyone with some old ones
    for sale for nabiac ride.
    thanks toes

Hey toes I can probably help you out with a front tyre. Drop round one arvo and have a dig through the pile of tyres I have here, dunno about a back tyre.

Mick you read it did you a 19 inch front adventure style?

Ummmmmmmmmmmm…………..AS a matter of fact, Yes. ;) I think I have a Kenda or the likes (maybe a Cheng Shin) that came of a XR some time in the past.

No XR in living history had a 19 inch front fitted my friend or rear for that matter ;)

19 inch Fronts are rare and not common as far as dual sport tyres go especially 2nd hand

Further the rim size width wise in a lot wider on the front of a Wee Strom then a normal dirt bike so even if it came of a magical XR it wont be wide enough sorry mate ;)

Ok Beags the Tenere is away having a sleep over at the mans place that makes the racks for Adventure Moto. It will be there for a week being used as a template for the new XT660Z pannier racks that Adventure Moto will sell to use with the fuel cells and Wolfman luggage system. I will get a set but it won’t happen and be sorted before Nabiac mate sorry, well I don’t think it will

You can look over the Andy’s at Nabiac and if you like we can strike a deal and when I get home I can TNT them to you

Other riders think your bike is about to blow up.

Mine is getting very floaty as you say mate which is why I was considering fixed. I always opted for fixed over float on my Mtb’s as I preferred the more positive feel at the lever. If fixed is ok I will give it a go on my WR.

    STM

My EBC I had on the XR got loose and floaty (word  ) I just re-squashed the rivets and tightened it up, noise gone

Not sure how it dissipates heat differently to a fixed, haven’t thought about but

I thought the benefit was to reduce pad knock off.

I fitted one to the OBT project DR they are only 99 bucks unbreakable and provide a good light as well. I have had the same one on my XR (red of course  ) since 2006 seen a heap of roosting while racing and never smashed

ps don’t let Boony pick one he has had some ugly lights on his DR

TB you got the same bulb in the polisport that it came with, because my high beam is ok but low beam sucks.

Yeah it only blew recently, I can’t comment on low beam I only leave it on high beam no bike light works well enough to warrant low beam  no one has ever flashed me for being on high beam :P

What are you talking about Jeffro? Thru the lack of detail, actual footage clairty, clear idenifocation or even some sort of verbal accknowledgement at best it looks like when my bike fell of the stand while I was waiting for you guys to catch up
