Fuel injection will help it atomise the fuel and oil better in the cylinder for burning and that’s it, it’s the unburnt hydrocarbons that are killing the two strokes in the emission ring. The same problem killed the two stroke Detroit engine and when the emission laws tighten because of the greenies well
My fuel injected Tenere is soooooo much better in fuel than a carby 660 Tenere with a slower rider than me so I have to say you are fishing for an argument or well, lets say you are fishing :laugh: :laugh:

Yeah I dont know Roy the problem does seem to be the unburnt fuel. I read somewhere recently that the new low emission two stroke outboards are helped out by the fact the exhaust is washed through the water (the exhaust exits into the water) and thats the only way they can meet the emission laws

Aido as there are only 17 is ol mate able to take campers, swags in the dorms etc Should it be somewhere else if the numbers are heaps more than 20?
