doubleA wrote:A belated thanks to TB and the crew for what was truly a sensational well organised event. As a newbie to the group, having only recently signed up with my son (BOB96), the welcome and support received was fantastic. The newly purchased KTM ran well, even after a great hill climb and wash in the river :woohoo: ! We are definitely looking forward to joining such a great group for many more rides to come.cheers
Double ANo worries Double A, go to http://www.rideadv.com.au and get next years ride dates. The site is new, its not a forum like OBT just site. It will grow with heaps of information, links, tabs and updates keep checking in over the next few weeks

Well after a rushed trip back from Brisbane Lochie (my eldest son) and I attended the premier of this awesome movie. I had been asked along to the VIP event which had most of the riders from the movie plus heaps of the industries best people.
The movie is unbelievable the riding the locations the footage is better than anything I have seen before. Milner in the snow, Matt Fish In the desert just spring to mind
Get a copy, I got one last night and have watched it twice.
When we walked out, Lochie asked Ballard about something from the movie and Geoff said mate I don’t know how those guys (riders) do some of those things !!!!
The standard of the movie was such I rang STM frothing about it this morning cause he was the only person I knew that would get it the quality of the whole thing let alone the riding
4.5 stars

MrSquiggle wrote:Great Weekend and a Massive thanks to TB and all the dudes that contribute to the rides. Simply awesome. You could spend weeks in that area and not find a fraction of the tracks we rode on the weekend.Ill be putting together some video and pics later on as time allows. After a fantastic weekend Merlyn had an off on the KTM about 20 minutes out of St Albans that saw him airlifted to Royal North Shore hospital with spinal injuries. He has come through the surgury well and has movement back in his arms and legs. He has pins and plates from his C3 to T5 and is a very lucky boy to say the least.
Special thanks to hopper on the WR who stuck around and helped out with the ambos and bike recovery.
Gees thats shit  Glad he is as OK as can be expected. I am sure all our thoughts and wishes go with him. I will be in touch asap Shane
Shocked!
