“Birthday” mate………is what I said and she still runs great…..so why would I rip down something working?……leave it with you Greg!!!!
Sorry Dave   Did I embarrass you   They all (every brand) need a make over from time to time. The XR will get one this year or earlier next. Sorry when we spoke in the shed and you mentioned it and we discussed which head was on it etc and you mentioned the things you were doing and you even had it push button starting well whatever will leave it there

OK on another note mate I will give you a ring, I gave a bloke your number regarding some stubby holders and I need to chase up those fork garters talk soon

TB
Its here in Tekniks setup guide from their website. Its in a PDF you can print take to the shed fill out answers your questions and keep as a record of changes and adjustment
Here check it out, scroll down
Tabs along the top, went to Teknikal Library, down to setup guides, then off road setup

Its way out of spec Mick by the way

TB
If you get stuck mate give me a yell I will be here
Well be interested to see what Brad says mate
TB
Yeah I will back that Mick, once questioned a guy that did a lot of riding about what he carried and he said he didnt bother with a tube, spark plug and link because it was an inconvenience and someone else on the ride would have what he needed, if needed.
But again there is more good then bad so focus on that is more positive

I am sure Brad will respond here today Mick. Whats the front end sag? You may not need springs they only hold the ride height really. That said he is a big boy
Leave it Brad will sort it but knowing the sag would be a big help
TB
Rat I will be riding again long before you finish rebuilding that shit wreck you call black betty   And that means someone besides Bull as a witness
Remember telling me its being rebuilt  :laugh:I am going ok, more scans etc thursday but I am feeling confident after this afternoons appointment, besides I know pain mate I owned a KTM years ago

TB
This is all true BUT where it took him for ever to start the XR at the poker run, this way he could get an extra 10 years out of HIS right knee [/quote]
ha ha   true but even Krusty now says that whole thing was operator error
He said instead of wasting all his energy on getting the bike pointed back up the hill, started and trying to take off from on the steep part he should of just turned around rolled down clutched it and started again like everyone did on the videos
his words not mine
