One for the bad knee and get the protection until you save for the other, just a thought
TB
Beags as far as knee braces go can spend 2k a leg or 150 a leg. I don’t think you get the protection from a cheap pair. I spent 6 months doing my research as I had a cheaper pair and wasn’t convinced they helped at all. I bought a pair of asterisk braces and recommended them to Mal5.1 and Boulder who have them now.
They aren’t the cheapest around or are they the dearest, they offer great protection are super comfortable (in fact after the poker run I wore them around in Mick’s shed for nearly 4 hrs after we got back without noticing) I never notice I have them on when riding or walking yet feel safer when I realise I have them on. They offer heaps of adjustment and after seeing the aftermath of Boulders big crash where he broke his left hand brace (parts are easily obtainable) and listening to him speak about it convinced he would have seriously injured himself without them (he does have a niggling injury from it)I tried a few on and they were the most comfortable and they I feel offer better retention on your leg then pods and the likes that just have 4 straps cause when push comes to shove I want them where I fitted them not moving
All just from my experience and opinion

Well I just got the big call from Brad at Tekniks the “Tenere” is ready :woohoo: :woohoo:
I am awaiting a breakdown of what was done and photos are coming. The forks have been totally changed and now have a level of adjustability that they didn’t have before. They no longer dive under brakes like they did and when asked will the rear still blow through the stroke again Brad answered “ If you blow that through the stroke and bottom it you have bigger problems then it bottoming”
I will update the thread as soon as I have the photos and information later this weekend I hope. I will pick the bike tomorrow arvo and test it on Saturday on Gavb’s duel sport ride

If your nice someone with a damper on a 650 might let you fit his from his bike as he isnt riding it on this trip. No holes need be drilled its all bolt on and takes about 30 mins

I thought the round trip to Wauchope would take longer than 30 mins TB. :silly:

Quote:some people love them but they don t work on my 530 grip okay when new but spin up and send me in all directions after a few rides and make me look like more of a wally than usual[/quoteYeah I found the same Rocket as I think I said here somewhere good for a short period when new and then they got nothing. OK if your Ballard and swap they out all the time. I have always thought Michelins (except M12 rears) are the most consistent tyre from new to bald but wear to quick. Am loving the scorpions but wonder SB if you werent on the bridgestone deal what you would run because I cant get a run grip or wear wise out of a bridgestone. I am always trying something new like the IRC on the rear of my bike and the a new Dunlop for a run

Menace if they have been maintaining a handle on the PSA thing then it should be ok. Same happened with my Dad it spiked, they tested found it was cancer and took it out. 6 weeks later all good. (2years ago)
With the two Bulls I mentioned and now your Dad it shits me
Thoughts with your all

Yeah I got a set through Sutto’s as did Chris72a we are giving them a run to see how they go
