Either that or ring JL and have him talk me through it again from the Wollar end , I’ve only done it from the Sth going Nth the day we ” Discovered ” it .I have it on a map somewhere about too , just can’t recall where I put the laminated map print out .
It is some public access farm tracks and Crown Land fire trails , then dirt rds through to the Mudgee rd then dirt back rds through to Rylstone . A fair bit of sand in one section through a pine forest too IIRC .
I’ll get onto it , chasing it up now .I can add to that after Rylstone Al, will ring ya mate later in the week and link them up if you like

Ok it’s all go this ride, I am pre running the whole course on the Wed and Thursday the week before and am looking for anyone interested in two solid days riding, especially if you couldn’t make the actual ride. PM me if you are interested
As for the ride, the publican at Woodstock has informed me he will have a massive VB gazebo setup if you wish to put your swag under or if you are hard core and just have a tarp and sleeping bag (or just a sleeping bag)
He has arranged a DJ and again remember the kitchen there does a great job and there will be free showers for those campingPlease stay across the first post on page 1 incase there are any changes

Nato wrote:Trailboss wrote:So you throw it on and adjust as needed. No lube ever or just not often?
Normally Nate never lube it, just fit it with new sprockets. After the first ride adjust it once and that’s it. Never lube, always steam clean my bikes basically all the wrong things. When the front sprocket shows the first sign of maybe starting to wear and hook I replace it, will do that twice and then the third I fit a new chain. That’s around 20k on the Tenere, but I have always treated my XR and the 530 the same. The 530 has just had the original sprockets replaced after 70hrs of a big bore dirt bike. I had fitted the RK chain when it was brand new, it’s had 2 front sprockets. Be it the desert, mud or wherever no lube, the lube is internal in the rollers sealed with the X or O rings. Anything you spray on it externally will attract dirt and girt and become a paste that wears the teeth of the sprockets.
Try it, it not my theory people smarter than me put me onto it years ago
Oh and the 2 reasons I run a gold chain are for looks and because they dont rust after washing between rides
