That 640 looks phat I love the look of them, but 5 x
Well it seems at this time we have an almost full crew for the ride and today we had a get together with most of us to discuss the ride. We have a itinerary that will be tuned and accommodation things to sort out but its looking good. There is the possibility of a support vehicle going now that we would meet up with every night so we may have a few camp outs :woohoo:
Thanks to the guys for coming down for the meeting today
(bloody hell it was cold this morning on the bike down through Dural  )

Quote:Well I reckon out of all the 450’s the KLX is probably the one that would handle the road k’s the best, they are a bit more docile than the CRF’s, KTM’s, WR’s etc but still go like the clappers when you need it to. I think Kawasaki have done a fine job in tuning the KLX to be very manageable on the power, I’ve only ridden one once but I did like it very much.+ 1 to what Chris said they are a real good balance the best for a trail rider and very quick when setup as well as T Price showed before KTM signed him bloody KTM
Actually it looks like it will be for sale, Chop is going in for back surgery tomorrow. I have just been talking to him and if anyone is genuinely interested please PM me for more details
Chris its great you are still green deep down  The KLX was a great bike with the 300 kit
But seriously Eags the project DR is a great option for you its complete and needs nothing doneGood luck tomorrow Chop

Knee coped well, although I still have to be extra careful on the dismount & watch out for any twisting action  Will still be off the dirt rides for another two weeks at leastThats good news Eags, keep up your rehab mate

TB
Come to think of it Eags he might sell it to you, its was rebuilt after Hillend and has only done one day at Orange in the pine forests since. Rego that baulked you before isnt a problem now. Food for thought

Quote:good write up..would they be easy enough to pack up and take on a 3 day camping ride, so you could do your filters each day> yes I appreciate you can take spare filters, but its just a question????Thank you Boony
Your question leaves me puzzled because you can easliy pack a army tank if you have the low loader to transport it cant you   I mean if you are to take say kero for a 3 day ride to clean your filter this being a liquid can be taken exactly the same way cant it

Its good gear yeah you can take it Boony
