Grabbo’s cracked a piston maybe they changed the others because of that. I know when we were out there in 2008 we heard Wonka’s 505 had lunched at least one engine before the race :huh:

Its only 440kms in total would have thought a engine could hold together for that distance :blink:

Funny thing is people bag Honda for changing engines once in the Safari (every front running team does there) its a 8000km event.

I just read that KTM changed the engines in some of the factory bikes for the return leg. I never saw a single team do it when we worked for GHR. Did you guys there hear this?

Hatto is sorting it and he will have an announcement this week with dates and cost. We are hoping to have it on the weekend of the 20th and 21st of November
