Thanks TB, it’s really a no brainer when it comes to the weight!! If I go the single pipe would I have to adjust the engine mapping?

No mate, just fit and it ride it for 10 mins, it will probably pop and blow flames on over run etc but switch it off leave it ignition off for a few mins and ride it again and it will settle down

The system self learns as such, all happy days. It will pop on over run some but I like it some people don’t, you can get a blanking plate for the cold air induction for the pollution to reduce it but try it first

Ok so last night after work I set about fitting the King’s Tenere with a set of Barrett twin pipes

So we know the standard exhaust weighs

    image_zpsa8df53e9.jpg

So it was given the flick quick smart, and then to weigh the Barrett twin cans and Y piece, 5.4 kilos

    IMG_2653_zpsf5a426ee.jpg

    IMG_2654_zps1647c8ef.jpg

The two cans on their own go 4.4 kilos

    IMG_2650_zpse2966245.jpg

    IMG_2651_zps6edfd17d.jpg

And one can and the Y peice go 3.3 kilos

    IMG_2656_zpse7ec7922.jpg

    IMG_2655_zps4ba28de2.jpg

So working it out with the straight section for a single and a single can I reckon it would go 3 to 3.1 kilos for a Barrett single system ;)

On further investigation all Wolfman Bags are to come with the Universal Strap kit standard from mid October…
This gives users the option I guess of mount abilities ;)

As I orderd mine early the same week I may have missed out on that  Mine were on back order waiting for a Black set so hey,,,, you never know until they arrive I guess :)

Fingers crossed for tomorrow now

I doubt you will get the universal given the lead to order time, freight time from the US and custom clearance time

    Good luck

There is nothing wrong with the old system, but as you pointed out the new system is only for universal racks.
While Wolfman has stopped making racks in the US, our own Wolfman with Barrett’s has been producing racks for a while that will now ramp up to cover all the models that US Wolfman used to cover.
The newest racks are an idea of Steve’s and they are a universal rack that fit Andy’s, Steel Pony’s, Wolfman , Rotopacks etc
I fitted a set to the Kings bike afterwork today and I have a set on T2, great thing super strong

Not looking good at this stage for any riding again this weekend  :S :(

That depends where we go Eags. Weather is ok on the weekend at this stage now worse or better than any normal weekend. I for one need after this stressful fire related week a ride. I have some ideas given that the fire has jumped the Bells Line and is headed towards Colo. Colo heights is already got fire dramas and next eastern location from there in sorts is St Albans a relocation and format could be in order see the thread related to the ride.

Umm just so happens this afternoon I will be fitting a set of Barrett’s finest twin exhausts to the King’s Tenere. I am sure as it comes in 3 parts I will be able to weigh it all and work out the weight difference between the single and twin for you.

BTW twin is the the go as it looks the best

    More this evening
