No. It’s not. The KTM MX frame can’t accomodate the plastic rear clip or the negative bonding strap…It’s an all new frame.
 ?? Can you explain more regarding the plastic rear clip and the negative bonding strap

Much easier thanks Eags. Yesterday could have gone either way as it was the wind suited us here. Was listening to it all unfold in Minmi and Dudley yesterday sounds like luck played a part there as well.
Thanks to Dejay and Crash for coming up here yesterday, James for coming and collecting the kids bikes etc. and thanks to Trailraider, Strucky and Bollocks .
Again to everyone that took time out to ring, PM and text it was awesome knowing that people gave us a thought and what real friends we haveTB

Nickj wrote:Like I said earlier the mechanic had seen the problem more than once so it’s not just me I don’t think , but I didn’t want to risk a problem so ditched it straight away !!It was a $55 loss but that’s bugger all compared to the alternative
Nick
Sorry didn’t see that earlier  Don’t really read everything you write, known you to long
Will do now but. Yeah true about the cost balanced against the outcome, wonder if they know about it then

Did you let funnel web know Jacko is it a one of or had they heard of it? I’m wondering if people had the same problem and they modified it since giving the amount of CRFs out there or it’s just yours?
I know Nick (Teknik’s) had a bit to do with the pre release of the CRFs into Aus and he recommends the use of standard Honda air filtersHard to go past a twin air like you mentioned but
I do like unifilters as well they do a good job on the long desert dusty rides.

Yeah mate we have one in the 530 and we ran them on Wolfman’s WR450 desert sled in the lead up and during the 14 day APC. They did a great job and seem very durable after many washes
Good luck with it
