My bike has never been rebuilt

My old bike on the other hand…..
Of course if I asked the right questions the first time it would’ve only been rebuilt once and technically I suppose it was but steps 4 through to 10 were probably repeated two or three times
Mind you I gave the new buyer the old piston and rings as spares as there was not a problem with it. I only rebuilt it because I wanted to eliminate that as the problem and with the head off it was suggested I may as well do it.
It was a great example of how tech help here worked

I am not sure I know the old ones didnt and I dont know why they would change it really. A machine shop like repco on Manns Rd West Gosford will machine it when you give them the new piston.

Cheers Jeffro reckon it will be a full house ride back on sunday the B route as the sore heads and worn bodies bail on the A route

No that’s not it, you are just a control freak

Great Job
Hatto
Yeah I thought about it this morning and you cant edit posts, so the problem is that YOU cant update the lists  I thought long and hard about it and thought the fuel list is better with the master list otherwise it will get lost in the million posts as a whore I will do here

Used to ride a 96 with Crash it would shake its head tied on the trailer  I dont think the trail or rake angle was changed between 96 and 2001 it was the time of supercross and the bike was designed to steer around a supercross track in 2nd gear railing berms. Punchy bottom end mid range motor again for supercross, loved the bike went forever.

The Old Bull 2 year Anniversary rideI am using the now spare weekend in May 1st and 2nd to organise a ride from the Zig Zag railway to Sofala. After the weekends ride that Crash, Boulder and I did (Look here) I thought it would be rude to not share some of those trails and use some of the Hill End adventure tour trails (See Here) that people enjoyed so much
So the plan is to leave the Zig Zag at 8am, that is after you have put your full jery can, swag and food / esky into the support vehicle.
We will ride through some phat twins and singles to Capertee for a snack and fuel. From there through to Sofala, via a fuel dump for a splash and dash for those that require it.
We will hopefully camp on the Turon river close enough to Sofala that we can go to the pub if we want to or need to.Numbers for the ride will be limited it will cost you $10 to have your gear and fuel carried by the support vehicle that is not neg (what they choose to do with money if they dont want it etc is their business)
The next days ride will be mostly different trails.
We will refuel at Capertee on the way home and have lunch.
The weekend will be between 300 to 400kms
ImportantAs far as the fuel side of things go if everybody can buddy up with someone and share a 20 liter Jerry Can that will provide enough fuel for two bikes at the overnight stop and reduce the number of Jerry Cans required to be carried by the support vehicle
Thats pretty much full now, there are some reserved spots for the celebrity rider and sponsors. If you want to go now please PM me
