Bruce you dont lose the sensory input it just has the sharp harsh edge taken of it. Couldn’t do it without that anyway. Give it a decent try I think it helps your inner ear and balance but I also think the Knights will win the premiership this year
:blush:TB
I wear ear plugs Bruce road, dual sport, singles, slow, fast racing or just any riding to save whats left of my hearing (trade abuse). I also have dual sport and road helmets I find it reduces engine / pipe noise just taking the edge of it. I can still hear the bluetooth in my ear and conversation when stopped actually find it strange riding without now
Each to his own I did find it a little strange at first years ago when I started looking after my hearing  , 2004 when I went to the cape if I remember right
Maybe I am just old

Yes Bruce thanks very sad, you are as always right about the authorities using the shock value but how do we fix it?

OK today I took a tour down and did a site inspection of the two camping areas we can use near Sofala.
Site A
Site A is directly as we come of the dirt and is 5.7kms from the thriving metropolitan that is Sofala, pictures of site A
The causeway is just to the right of this shot

The causeway that we will cross to get there

The track that runs parallel to the creek, goes nowhere

The main camp area, we would go past this down the back

Site A has a toilet block

Between the main camp area and down the back there are areas like this

Track down the back

Camp areas down the back of site A

There is another area I found today call it site B, site B has no toilet but better river access and swimming, site B is 2.7kms from Sofala

I will have another look with Mal and we will organise which one will best suit
TB
The kelly I think would be the best, also the most expensive
