Due to some scum of the earth entering my property and stealing my TXC pro boots I dont think I will be able to ride this weekend. It appears that a low life scum entered my car port where my boots sat drying on my drying rack hanging from the roof at the rear of my carport. They took my boots yet may not have realised that they are missing the inner booties so they are no good to them  I say to them, pop by ring the door bell and I will give you the inner booties and another something else ;)

I will try to secure another set this week :( or buckles maybe for my old set, I am not sure what they require yet. As I dont have a great deal of time this week it may not happen.

While we are at it what are old bulls favourite choice for a rear tyre which they use in general trail riding?

    Anyone got an opinion?

I recommend you try for yourself a Pirelli Scorpion MX XTRA. They hook up well, they
get great mileage and are cheap as when purchased from Mal @ Sutto’s, http://www.obtrailriders.com/index.php?option=c…atid=53&id=57934

Freight is cheap making it cheaper then most shops still

Hey from experience and owning a couple of XR600’s couple of XR 250’s and and XR650 dont buy cheap clutch plates they dont work fact we have tried it, Chicken still has trouble with his when hot.
I have run Motul 5100 in all my XR’s my old one has done over 45,000kms (its a 600 never touched) and is still going and this one has done 26,000+ kms. If you have yours running on LP Gas put gas oil in it if not why run gas oil?
File the fingers, soak your plates new or old for at least 12hrs before you fit it and check the steel plates like Ollie said.

Is it BBQ ???, sangas, fire cooking, Pub Meals.
Sorry for asking dumbass questions, but this is my first old bull ride

    cheers Hatto

How long would it take me to get from blackheath to zig zag

    Hatto

You will only need food for once you arrive at the camp site sat arvo, so thats snacks, dinner and Sunday morning breakfast.

We will have a early lunch at Capertee Saturday and lunch somewhere on the way back Sunday

Blackheath to Zig Zag about 30mins for a first timer I reckon is very safe. You can follow us as we go through if you like

    Hatto and Rocket done

This ride is happening on the two year anniversary of OBT’s birth. I hadn’t realised until yesterday so as it is a Birthday ride there will be plenty of prizes and give aways for those attending.

The ride number is limited only because of the gear needed for the overnight stay. Each person will have a swag or tent etc, Jerry can, food, esky etc so anything that you can combine with a mate going would be appreciated

If we had another support vehicle we could take more people so if you know someone I have planned 20 per vehicle at $10 each to have your gear carted
