I guess bikes can have their own little idiosyncracies, I know my bike hates the slightest throttle flick when starting. Must be a no throttle start or it just floods and has to be cleared again.
I’ve only done about 5000km or so on my 650, I have checked the valves x5 times….I have not had to touch the exhaust valves and have only had to adjust the inlets twice. Each time I have….be it actual or psychological, it always seems to start easier, have a snappier performance and sounds so much crisper.
CrashI will go along with that Crash, mine is same same

Quote:AS some of you may already know, the Australian Off Road Championships Rd1 and Rd2 will be held at the Hastings Valley MCC TRack on March 13-14 2010.One of the organisers has contacted me, to ask if any of the Old Bulls would be interested in helping out in some way. Whether it be as a sweep rider or marshall or just helping out in some way. They would also like if people could offer some time the weekend prior being March 6-7.
This is a fantastic event and a great opportunity to get up close to some of the best racing in Australian Enduro and helping out the Hastings Club at the same time.
I do believe that they are still looking for a helping hand at the A4DE at Portland as well,so if anyone would like to help there and represent OBT I am sure you’d be welcomed with open arms.
The help weekend (6-7) is teh same as your birthday 3 day ride weekend Mick??
And then to back up the weekend after 3 days of riding  the weekend before good luck with that

TB
Chris, Scotty and Boulder added
Mick another particapte that has his name down has a childs birthday the same weekend like you, but they are doing the childs birthday thing the weekend before and making it a little more special to buy their way free for this ride weekend

Food for thought maybe as you rated the last ride out that way as you top for last year

Whereas if that had’ve been me the piston would’ve come out of the cylinder and damaged my backup bike on impact
And my kids bikes as well mate

Mate I do a bit more on those bikes than I let on. They are maintained very well, oils filters etc. They are tidy units and they serve us well. you never see me running around at the races like a chook with my head cut off.
Yeah righto Mick we know

And as for the track running around again we know

The piston will make a great shed dust collector

I think I have a picture here that shows that chain is rusty, must have been the old chain

I wont answer the run in yet, the two stroke lords here may have a newer method?
