Well as I said Salina and I went to the rocks me kicking and screaming I have to say
We got there and found a pub for some rum and lunch and rum

Pub was packed, two man band rocked

Random Pics

Told Salina I wanted an ice cream and she should walk down the hill and run back with it so it doesnt melt, her thoughts

Then we stopped at another pub NO RUM WTF so I had a dirty beer then onto Sydney’s newest trendy pub and it sucked but had rum and then home

There is a massive adventure ride with limited numbers already in the works, myself and Boulder are hard planning and it is a two week ride. Bring on June 2011

Not sure Wikd, the scala’s are so easy to change form helmet to helmet, I have fitted and removed our 2nd ear phone set from Salina’s helmet to fit to Dan’s, Crash’s and now Mal’s I dont know how many times. Is a quick simple easy job

Its so easy Dan has done it so how hard can it be really

Jobs done here, cleaned out work area under the house, rebuilt a rear wheel for a neighbours uncle new rim I organised from Yoko for him, tin lids bikes serviced and checked for tomorrow’s ride for them. Wheels bearings inspected and repacked for tomorrow and next weeks Wauchope trip.

Whilst talking about noise and speed on the caves to caves ride after we found Aidtank on the ground we rode to the caves to get help. As anyone on the ride (which isn’t Dave as normal or any ride even if he says he will be there  ) would testify Crash and myself took of and even when we got up around 150kph (GPS recorded) across the limeburners turn of area we could still talk, just but could.

There are different models as well

I have been using it for 12 months now. My partner Salina and I use it 2 up and I have been using it bike to bike in the bush with Dan D, Crash and Mal 5.1 with great success.

I will be wiring Micknmeld up this weekend for our ride. I rate the bluetooth as one of the best / fun things in my kit
Crash and Mal 5.1 have both purchased the kits seen below

The other amazing thing is how clear they are, I have been rang by Mick and Chicken for example whilst riding along and been talking to them and they haven’t picked I was on the bike riding
I need to get back to the original thread and do a 12 month update soon I guess
I purchased mine from http://www.mobileoutlet.com.au/ and was pleased with the service and price

I have had a XR250 go for two none stop seasons the next one fitted from new a 280 kit and it failed a little end twice
Bana’s DR destroyed a little end brg in a season
They are just two examples there are many more
You see a conrod and its respective brgs, crank, head bolts, head gaskets etc are all designed for work with a set weight reciprocating around the engine creating set stresses throughout the engine. When you increase the loads within the engine you decrease the reliability because of the extra stress within the engine
Forget all the emotion that this topic will create. I do this stuff for a living the above about extra engine stress for a component not designed for it is fact.
The gains aren’t that great, practice braking later good suspension good tyres will have a large nett gain on your riding then a big bore kit
PM me a land line number and a time you can talk and I will share what has happened to me and what I have seen with others
