Alright all the final coats have been applied and are in the bake oven that we have here today being 40 degrees
Me I am back in the ducted air conditioning 
Tomorrow the broken exhaust stud and I will dance :laugh: and I will be the winner, engine will then be painted and refitted to the frame Thursday, Friday there will be some polishing of rims etc, back flat fixed (nice Mick sell a kid a bike with a flat tyre :huh: ) and some minor reassembly.
The fuel tank is to be sent out this weekend to a specialist to be restored to is original condition and returned on the 16th. Sutto’s today donated some numbers so the lass can have her favorite number on the bike Christmas morning cheers Mal and Sutto’sTB

Different primary drive ratios is where the difference is, a 650 has a lot faster primary drive ratio because the bigger engine can pull it

15 – 39 is the gearing its running in motard trim, normally I run 14 – 48 for tight stuff and 15 – 45 or 14 – 45 for the faster riding

Was a good result for BMW on like what they said was a heavier 4 stroke bike. I would have thought the lighter two strokes would have been all the go. Shows what rider skill can do I guess. Again nice post Robo
