Both bikes have had fuel supply problems with filters and pumps I believe. Dingo lost a foot peg in the first half of the Simpson. (Imagine riding half the Simpson without a foot peg  ) The 1190 had a top end engine overhaul before it left (it’s still new remember) Homers dashboard nearly fell off from Roo damage. Craigs panniers fell apart in desert because of fuel bladders.
Both have had their impacts with Roos, they even managed to hit the same Roo. Craig’s had no lights for three days apparently during the ride. Craig’s bike had 3 klms on it when he left to ride it to the start. Massive effort by the guysTB

Just like that Clive palmer bloke had done in recent weeks 😆 😆anyway im happy with the way mine are ajusted i belive the boot should be enough to stop the brace from rotating around on my leg. So i won’t be using the tether strap.plus i don’t want to drill a $400 boot and$100 pants. Just my thoughts
Andy
HI Andy,
I havent drilled my boots or cut my pants either, I cant see them moving.
I cant get mine to move without boots on and the boots only hold them tighter.IMHO
I have been wearing asterisk braces for 6 years and never drilled holes and they have never moved
