Well I went out this morning to refit the starter motor, all went good except still wouldn’t start, I must have a voltage drop or something. it just clicks like it hasn’t got enough power to start, so that is all i can think it could be. I will go out tomorrow morning and see if i can jump of the other engine starter, that should at least tell me if it is a lead from batteries. Any other thoughts TB

    Hatto

If the starter was tested Hatto its got to be in the supply to the starter, do they run of the same start batteries or are there seperate start supplies for each engine?

With a bit of luck we maybe able to have an adult conversation here without Moto’s arse from elbow dribble

I wasn’t aiming it at you being in training. It is a fact though and even common sense when you think about it. R&D and training are almost always the first to go.

Cummins might be doing very well and they obviously aren’t in financial trouble. I don’t mean when the Australian economy has a recession every company closes down it’d training department.

When it gets to the serious end money wise for a business, see how long the above divisions last.

Well Moto you will be surprised to find our biggest training growth is with our dealers and customers now that money is tight they want to do their own work ;)

So you have covered all the basics then, all the earths are good, no pinched wires, no wires hooked up incorrectly.

The best way I have found is to start with one blinker only connected and get the front right for example working, disconnected all the others, keep things simple I keep saying, the regulator / rectifier is working cause the head light is working and I seem to think these get hot anyway, check Moose’s to be sure

I think it sounds like its too hard Mick, you are looking for simple fix instead of the hard work of checking things would rather replace the reg and be happy :P

There was only one earth wire that really concerned me in that regard Menace and that was on the coil. Seeing as the bike starts first kick I ruled it out.

At this stage I wouldnt rule anything out just clean all the earths Mick
