Quote:TB,
isn’t the “creek crossing” actually the Macquarie River?Yes it is Mick, the crossing we will be using on Saturday is called Roothog crossing, the famous crossing from the 2003 safari that cost a lot of bikes time due to drowning
And Sunday we will be crossing it again at Long point when heading back towards Orange

At this stage this ride is full as accommodation at Hillend pub is full, we secured the last of the beds and I mean only just we took every bed left. And we got the only beds at a stretch because he remembered us (OBT) and was happy to have us back as long as Moto wasnt going
.If anyone else wants to go that’s fine but you will have to stay here http://www.hillendlodge.com.au its about a 1km or so from the pub. I have asked the pub if we can have any of the rooms should there be any cancellations
TB
Done Scotty, looking forward to a ride with you again, you will love this one
TB
OK then Louee, Dan you can share my quick shade, goes without asking, of course we have confirmed you will need to be there to get my drinks of course
I would also recommend you bring chairs people for over at the track and around outside the Shearers Quarters

Quote:R&D Husky at Emu Plains is the latest to be hit but this time the grubs didn’t get away. Last night the group rammed the rear door and removed 7 bikes. This set off the alarm and luckily the owners of the shop were there within minutes and saw the vehicles leaving the driveway. The police and got in a pursuit with the vehicle, finally stopping it over near Fairfield. All bikes recovered though one fell off the trailer during the pursuit. Hopefully this will lead police to Sutto’s bike’s and any others that have been stolen.
Lets hope this leads somewhere thanks for the update Scotty

Quote:Trailboss wrote:Quote:I will pick it up for you Menace, no problems at all. 10 psi at Louee with a ultra heavy duty tube eh? Interesting, from experience out there 18 psi and ultra heavy duty for me
TB
you are the man TB
i will PM you later.18psi….. ive never run a tyre that hard in my life, it would feel bloody skaty i reckon
Its up to you Menace you can run whatever you like, cant remember ever going to Louee and someone didn’t get a flat. The joint is that dry, dusty and rocky the difference between pressures will be minimal, but if its wet a good tyre will be worth its wait in gold (well a quality tyre will)
Never seen Louee wet but  dont think it rains there
Picking the tyre up is not a problem Menace have to go down and pick up Moto’s damper and fit it at Louee anyway
