Hold the throttle on longer, get on the brake later and get on throttle earlier
Seriously, get your suspension done by a professional first, its the single biggest and best mod
After that worry about pipes, big bore kits, bling etc

Quote:I must come as a disappointment to our local Kawasaki dealer, that we will be racing two Kawasakis and will never step foot in his shop as the local Suzuki dealer gives better service and quite often has the parts in stock for KX’s, where as the Kwaka dealer has to order everything in. GO figure. He would be happy enough I reckon the local dealer, because if you happened to get you wallet out which I doubt he would be faced with two problems, your hyperventilating from the shock of parting with your money and the moths flying all through his shop from your wallet

It’s weird that they would make the standard template on the right when every other forum I have ever looked at, I mean ever, has them on the left. Joomla trying to be different I suppose…….
I’ve had more of a play with the other features this morning and the site is definitely much more schmick!
Firstly its not Joomla anymore Moto  its Kunena

And its the way it is, you get used to it as I have, its different and I like it being different, its the only reason I think I like you (a little) because you are VERY DIFFERENT !!!

The reference to Chinese is related to cheaper pit bikes and the likes, this is because of their quality, availability of parts and safety concerns etc. We have witnessed these cheap bikes at Pacific Park in action. I have seen a kid riding around the circle track (with no jumps) and have the frame break of at the headset, just snapped. A 5 year old on a quad had the front stub axle snap of on the same track and cart wheel. There was a PW 80 style replica that was there that wasn’t very old (third ride I think the Dad said) they started it and the kid didn’t even get onto the track and the engine smashed a hole in the side of the crankcase, the dad rang the dealer straight away. I asked was there any warranty with it and he said the dealer told him you couldn’t get parts for it and it was easier and cheaper to buy a new bike? Why would you buy one? Every time we go to Pacific Park I end up helping someone with one of these cheaper style bikes. Yes I have had Lochie’s bike fail at Pacific Park once but the quality of bike is far above those cheaper Chinese bikes and I came home and had the parts within 3 days. The rear spring for your thumperstar is an example of Chinese parts availability, that happened in April and you may have only just got a shock absorber as you couldn’t just get a spring
When I asked a dealer in the Sydney area last year where the pit bikes had gone I was told that they hired a pantech to take the Thumperstar style pit bikes and Chinese bikes that they had on the floor back to the distributor as they are so concerned about the quality of the bikes they are scared of being sued.
There is no particular reference to any brand meant in the above statement and is just my opinion

There maybe some castings or some engine bits mass produced in China as most manufacturers do (Cummins included) but to say the whole engine in made there maybe drawing a long bow I reckon, just my opinion. Mick has to talk to Rory Rock (BMW dealer at Port Mac) soon regarding the Christmas party so he can ask, as its a great forum question.
Did you know that China take over a 3rd of the worlds raw resources to produce steel, that’s just one country!
