I for one have to say I like a that there is a major motor sport event as the WRC still being run in Australia, it gives an opportunity for fans to gather and see the worlds best in action. I am sure there are some benefits for the local economy as I am sure some people are being put out as there are at any sporting or large event. Would I like it in my back yard, once a year I cant see why not, it has to be somewhere. But now that it has affected Mick because thats why they have run it obviously well I say ban it

Thank for the response Moto, you have taken it the wrong way, I couldn’t answer the students questions regarding trials tyres or trials bikes because I haven’t ridden either and I dont like to answer questions I know nothing about or have limited experience with I save that for my job as a trainer. You will notice I dont comment on subjects I know nothing about.
You have no idea where I ride or what I really like riding, the Hillend, Jurds and the Caves ride that you quoted for example are rides I have run for OBT and for every member on the site to be able to complete comfortably and have a fun time as a social occasion is that to hard to understand for everybody to have a good time. These events are for the growth of OBT for all and sundry not just for me or you.
I have ridden everyone of those trails that I see in Murphs ride over the 20 years I have ridden in the Watagans and even said to Murph in a PM yesterday I will come along on one of his rides next year after my shoulder reconstruction when I can lift and drag a bike if I need to.
I have raced the A4DE’s, Condo 750’s, Yellow Mountains, Pony Expresses, Enduros, Cross Country’s, Sprint Races, Motocross, short circuit and many club events over the years and love all and any riding, neither is riding fire trails my favourite past time. From time to time to see something or learn new areas I have to ride a fire trail or even a bitumen section but its only a means to an end.
