razzle wrote:Couldn’t agree more with Ollie … bring on Rec Rego in NSW!!
Just had to re-reg the Berg, which I’ve hardly even ridden this year (you all know why), regardless it does bugger all Km’s on “the road” … why “FULL” rego? FULL CTP? etc.
I’m considering not bothering next year to be honest .. no cops anywhere to be seen where I ride (when I ride), no-one I ride with has rego … why bother??
If we had Rec in NSW I would not be asking the same questions … or considering the same “devil may care” situationMy Two Cents
RazzBecause you wont be on any OBT rides mate. While its not ideal and maybe not fair its what we have and its what we promote here at OBT.
Dream about rec rego it will never happen here in NSW while we have a green slip system, not Vics system. If we ever do something around rec rego IT WILL REQUIRE A GREEN SLIP and thats where we get ripped not the actual regoEverytime Ollie regos something this old chestnut pops up

Stuff all that mucking around got a mate ( or in your case Ollie a bloke you know ) borrow his box trailer number plate. Bolt it on tow it home, as you said it has no numbers can they prove its not registered to that plate. Doubt it would they really care doubt it
Make sure the lights workTB
It was there but Bollocks hadn’t sent the phone he promised so we cleaned up a bit  there was some Russian bots that I removed

Yup, this is true! I’m sure there is no way that, say, an old defunct member login could be removed by anyone, especially a moderator…
Interesting to look through the list, there’s an awful lot of inactive members there!
Yeah maybe some cleaning up    We do it often running the broom through but it may have been a while I think since it was cleaned up. We cut over 300 in one sitting a year or so ago. As far as the inactive members goes all web sites have them but on the other hand it’s funny how members pop up sometimes after a long period missing

All will be explained this weekend but here is a brief and REMEMBER ITS NOT SET IN CONCRETE YET
Asterisk don’t make the cheaper Cells brace anymoreBoth of the dealers I have spoken with wont stock the other cheap Asterisk brace because they are crap and having looked at them I have to say they would suit MTB riders. They are called Cytro cells
Pods have been considered and are being quoted, but three sets of feedback I have to date from people whose opinion I respect and none have been good. The dealers are saying they are ok so they are being priced as another choice. Further more on the Pods (I don’t care what you buy I have only recommended Asterisk because I know from my experience I can say hand on heart they work, protect and last) I know STM had a set of Pods that fell apart in a very short time. Deejay had a set he wore twice and he stopped wearing them because they were uncomfortable.
The Asterisk Ultras will be about $825 ish, if we buy over 10 sets. You can price them from say Rocky Mountain ATV but they are $815 landed to my house (that will change daily as our dollar drops in the US) you will get no warranty here or support
Normal retail for the Asterisk Ultra braces is around 990 ishAs I said more later, this isn’t a 5 minute job just give me a little more time
